Brothers Union update, Yuvraj, Manhas out, Mathews, Senanayke in
Manhas to Abahoni

2 good signings right here. Mathews will be handy in both department and Sena has been a great find for Lankans. Can do good damage in our conditions.

Just went to Pakpassion and the posters there were like: " Thank God/Our players dont need that kind of money/they wont get paid anyways".

Historically a lot of Pakistanis have played in DPL and earned more in DPL than what they earn in domestics throughout the year.

Rumour: Azhar Mahmood signed by BU. They are making a very strong side on paper. Tamim, Kapali, Mehrab, Mathews, Senanayke, Azhar... what are some of the other clubs doing? Seems like DPL has the potential to bring bigger international stars than BPL if properly pitched and approached

Not really. They are playing in Big Bash, CPL, SLPL. They are playing more internationals than almost any other nations. These players make tons of money. There is a very good chance PAK players will play in upcoming IPL's. So PAK players are doing very good financially.

It is our loss really. BCB lost huge amount of money from BPL 2013 since broadcasting company refused to pay them contracted amount as PAK players did not play. Historically it has always been PAK players who played in bunch in DPL.

Those are Pakistani national teamers. Your forgetting about the Pakistani domestic players who make up a good part of the DPL. Those are the guys that will suffer since they'd make a lot more playing in the BPL and DPL in addition to Pakistani domestics. It hurts both sides of course but it hurts the Pakistani players more since we can instead get players from other countries, mainly SL.

Hope they can resolve their differences though because it could only improve the DPL and BPL having the Pakistanis in

Hopefully we can restore good relationship with PCB soon. It will help players and boards from both sides. The better the relationship we have with all the boards, the better off we are...,

South African players are free until 14th October, 1st Test Vs Pakistan. Why club's not going after some of their domestic players like Wayne Parnell, Imran Tahir, C.Morris etc? are they too expensive. lastly what is wrong with hiring some good pacers from Afghanistan?

According to Akram Khan, the #2, #3, and #4 and pace spots are still wide open. Anamul, Jahurul, SN, Shamsur, Naeem, Raqibul, Mominul, and Marshall are being considered for these positions. So the DPL will be crucial for them. Lets hope they all deliver here.

Found this somewhere:

http://www.cricnepal.com/8161/nepale...play-in-dhaka/

Quote:
By Nischal Tiwari on Sunday September 8 2013
Kathmandu – Nepalese cricket captain Paras Khadka expressed his interest to play club cricket in Dhaka and believes he will be able to cope with the challenges if he gets the nod.
Speaking in a reception program of the national cricket coach Pubudu Dasanayke at Hotel Crown Plaza on Friday the fighting all-rounder expressed his desire to play in Dhaka. “I have the confidence to face the challenge. I want to play overseas as much as possible to earn experience,” said the tall all-rounder.
Paras is a middle-order batsman and bowls medium pace. He represented Nepal in three Under-19 World Cups in 2004, 2006 and 2008 while he is also a regular member in the senior national team. Groomed for captaincy through positions of leadership in age-group teams, he took over the national captaincy in 2009. A man for a pressure situation Paras also had a stint in Canada as he played for Ontario Cricket Club and Academy.
Now Paras looks forward to take his team to the World T20 scheduled to take place in Bangladesh next year. “We are preparing hard. We have spinners like Basanta Regmi and the team is working hard to attain a slot in the next year’s T20 World Cup,” said Paras.
The World Twenty20 Qualifiers, from which six of the 16 teams will progress to the main tournament in Bangladesh next year, is scheduled to take place between November 15 and 30 in the UAE.
