It makes sense for Players like Morgan, Pietersen to play for England because they are product of the English cricket system. So If I was a Bangladeshi born cricketer but my cricket career kicked off in England and I had the chance to play for England then heck ya i'd play for them. I bet someone out there is gonna come after me with a traitor remark.

Isn't isn't like thinking..is Brad Pitt going to date my wife..in the same sick twisted way? Why would we dream about a Bangladeshi playing for England? If one plays, that's nice. But then, why do we have to care for more than a couple of seconds if that ever happened. A player playing for England would not deserve to be idolised in banglacricket just coz he's bangladeshi..if he is, it would be due to his cricketing skills or personality.

And I agree with Lamisa..if a foreign-raised kid ever plays for us, it better be coz he wants to represent us, not coz its his fast-track to stardom. In which case he won't succeed. And if he's English, if he can't get into a county main XI on a regular basis (or serious under-19 talent on verge of representing another test playing nation), I doubt he's good enough to play for us. Till then, no need for any further discussion.

righto...if someone of BD origin wants to play for england and is good enough, more power to him. i'll root for him always (even against BD so long as BD still ends up winning, that is).

other than that, only players who play for bangladesh matter.

KP is a product of South african cricket. Sooner or later he would get chance in their national team but England robbed him away from RSA. So he is a traitor for S. African
