You got that wrong nadim. Corey Richards was a batting coach for a long time before starting his role as fielding coach. Beside I have noticed most fielding coach also assist the batting coach. You only get one batting coach cant be every where.
Salahuddin used to help Tamim and others with batting during JS era.

Thilan Samaraweera has been recalled to replace injured Mahela Jayawardane for the test series against Bangladesh.
Samaraweera was omitted from the 20 member pool selected for the two test series starting in Galle, on March 8.
Samaraweera has been the test specialist for Sri Lanka with 5462 runs in 81 test matches, including 14 centuries. Two of his centuries were converted to double tons in Pakistan.

Even with Shakib, we don't get 20 wickets most of the time

Enamul hq and sunny are also decent options but the problem is we want quick wickets and not 6-7 wickets after the opposition already accumulated 500+ score. Those late wickets are quite meaningless. i think keeping the opposition within 350-400 would be a job well done by our bowling standards?
How well we can face up to Herath is another challenge.

Corey Richards named interim batting coach
Mohammad Isam
February 20, 2013
Bangladesh's newly appointed fielding coach, Corey Richards, will also act as the team's batting coach in the interim, while the BCB looks to appoint someone permanently for the role ahead of the Sri Lanka tour. The BCB had said they were searching for a batting coach "from England", but this has not yet materialised and is likely to take more time.
"At the moment I will be looking after [the] batting. It will be [a] dual role," Richards said. "I have done [the batting coach role] before. I am looking forward to mixing both roles in the side until the BCB tells me otherwise. I am just very excited to be here and work with this group of youngsters."
Richards' last assignment was as a batting coach for Cricket New South Wales (NSW) over the past two years. He was also the assistant coach to the Sydney Sixers for the past two seasons. Last year, he was the head coach of the team when they won the Champions League in South Africa, as regular coach Trevor Bayliss was with the Kolkata Knight Riders at the time.

^^^ Srilankan are under estimating Bangladesh. They don't see any point sponsoring their own series. (That's the impression I get). Srilankan der shob poysha dia dile Zimbabwe ke ki dibo

It means that there is a lack of interests shown by the local companies and to be honest this series is financially not viable for them.

No series seems to be viable for them. The SLC lives off of loans from the BCCI.

Mahela is not playing and also the sl players are not in form right now, look at dilshan how he got bowled out golden duck against gazi, so i guess it will be an easy cake in the middle. just concentrate we can end up winning the series.

BD has bad record in Sri lanka according to the past series Bd never played well in SRI LANKA
in test it wont be easy playing against kulasekara and spin attack of sri lanka is quite good, They still have some top quality top order batsmen which our bowlers needs to tackle our pacers are not capable of tackling their top order batsmen.
The test will be hard .
as long as no innings defeat i am happy, i just dont want innings defeat .
at least make it upto 5th day .
for one day i expect at least 1 win which could be possible..
t20 we have some good players

On Paper, we have an emerging Bangladesh team and and slowly dwindling fading away Sri Lankan Team. On paper, it looks like an interesting contest with Sri Lanka having the slight edge. However, with Bangladesh not playing enough test matches per year and on top of that foreign conditions in addition to history not being in our favor, Victory is highly unlikely for Bangladesh. so Test matches, we will just have to wait and see. for ODI's we should win at least two...one will be good but not enough. We should also win the one off T20 match.
Expectations:
Test: lost both matches
ODI: won one lost two
T20: won.
Reality:
???
