If riyad bats 8 then all of the top 8 would be capable of scoring a ton.

Mushfik, Nasir should have waited till the real match for their 100s. Now they will both get ducks.

Not defending the selection of Rubel but our other pacers have been equally bad. And to this day we haven't produced a single Test standard pacer. I'm not going to put Robiul there yet because he still has to prove himself more. Our other options look really bad too.

I think we're going to have to live with substandard pacers unless BCB makes some changes to our pitches but will that happen? We've finally gotten a good set of pacers for the limited overs side but it might be a while before we can get Test standard pacers.

there are obviously other batting talents but i think with proper development all of these mentioned could be successful test batsmen and all of them are currently in the squad. they've all got the talent to average 40+ in tests, certainly 35+ and it would be a let down if they don't come good on that. riyad's pretty talented with the bat to but for the moment he should focus on his bowling more than his batting.
I agree with you with these batsmen. I'd still leave Hom and Shamsur out of the rest of the group. I still need to see some success from Hom in the international arena and Shamsur hasn't had enough success yet to belong with the others.

Definitely agree with you that the other 6 have the ability to average 35+ or even low 40's. We still need to find another top order batsman or 2 to the group especially if Shamsur doesn't pan out. Hopefully Hom pans out which would make our middle order settled.

349-7 by the St. Kitts team? We might as well send this team to face BD in the actual tests and not waste our senior teams time.

We aren't talking about the past here. We're talking about now and if St. Kitts can easily score 399 runs against you guys I shudder to think what our senior team will do in the actual tests.

If there is turn in the wicket, 400 all out, WI win a close game
If its a flat track, 600-5 Dec --> drawn match
If its a seaming wicket, 400 all out WI win by 150 runs or 8 wickets.

It wasn't st Kitts though. Half the runs were from chanders who is half the WI senior side batting also. St Kitts alone would be 250 all out thanks to Jeffers.

BD 55-0. Methinks Tamim should retire after 50 and let Hom mominul bat.

He's getting a bit too excited. We effed up an easy 2-1 series win simply due to brainless captaincy, without 2 of our best players Shakib the batsman + bowler. Instead of gloating he should be worried about how poorly it reflects on his side when you have to rely on Bangladesh to throw the game away in order to win. Same team beat WI at home, thrashing them by 160+ runs in the 2nd ODI.

Rubel's figures doesn't seem right. His figures were 16 overs 76 runs 1 wk and 1 maiden. Today it's 35 overs 90 runs 3 wk and 3 maidens. It's obviously possible that he tightened up today but being that economical while bowling just 2 more maidens? Just doesn't seem possible

You know I said all those things to get you guys worked up for this upcoming test series right? I would say job well done. Look back at my previous posts you would see that I have done nothing to belittle your team or players.

Highly improbable. Actually mathematically impossible. 14 runs in 19 overs with only 2 maidens is impossible.

Ya that's what I thought. I believe the 3 wickets but I believe he conceded more runs then that.
