but, i have been wrong many times before on this forum...so i'm willing to try riyad at a top order spot if we run out of options real soon.

Ash is a lucky lucky guy, despite scoring in single digits he can't be kicked out as every one else is competing for the lowest score spot.
So the batting line up I would go with would be

What do you mean IF?? When rakib first started playing it seemed like maybe we are going to get a decent middle order batsman, and then he got injured and its a different story now. but in reality we never had a 2,3,4 batsman.
Mushy and Riyad have shown what they are capable of but if they don't get a fair share of chance then we will never know. same goes for nayem.

Putting Ashraful at 8 is entirely pointless. He is either in top 6 or not in the team at all, IMO.

fully agree, but regardless if they want an ashraful type player in the national team they should be going for alok, same batting wise but better with the ball (and a leggy also so adds variation).
