Are we improving ?

Are still at the same stage like we played last time in ZWE? Did BD cricket improved a bit in these years? Are we matured enough to hold the big match temperament at top level? Are our wins still limited to teams like Scotland or Nepal?

In test terms, yes we have improved. We have reduced the number of innings defeats and if the batting holds up tommorrow, get past the follow on, then we can demonstrate that we can sustain competitiveness in test matches. That is an improvement. Winning a game is one step beyond.

Let's not write off our team too early. Still 3 days to go and lotsa cricket is ahead of us. I will second Adnan's thread if we face a defeat in this test.

I thought we already had shown enough in U19. Or is it our real show time to prove that we are tigers (but only in Plate). Like " Jei bone bagh (tiger) nai sei bone shial raja"!

yes BD has improved.

As i said already, zim have improved too, which makes it look like things are similar but as "oracle" mentioned, you can see from recent performances -against pak and oz- that BD have improved a lot.

Yes we have improved but not enough. Because BD is on the bottom of the pool, it is expected that we improve more compared to any other team to be competetive.

We most certainly are improving, although i do feel that our wins are still limited to countries such as Nepal or Scotland

Dear Ridwan,
Todays batting inspite of a minor failure, did show that you are right and Ashraful did kick a** of my posting whether we are improving or not.

Trust me I will be the happiest man in the world to see us winning a test, just one test please.
