well I was absolutely sick of science by the time I reached year 12 and realised that I'd really love to study an Arts subject as essays and English in particular was always my strength ( even though I don't really show it here with my horrible posts :P ) plus I was always interested in this field. I'm planing to do Human rights as a minor alongside French, so that leaves a lot of options open for me. Plus , Internation studies/relations (w/e you call it) has a lot of interesting job prospects .

Sometimes I sadly do miss doing Calculus, but at the end of the day, I much rather write a 2000 word essay on globalisation

Recently Graduated with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow University and waiting (been doing that for a year now) for my company to finance my masters in Building Services Engineering .

A Masters in Applied Chemistry from DU gives you a regular job in any chemical or pharmaceutical company in BD. But I chose the hard way - got a scholarship from TAMU-Kingsville, studied one year in Chemistry but could not enjoy. May be because my knack for programming since my early days in school had a role to play. Another scholarship made me choose Computer Science from TAMU - Commerce. Currently lagging on my Ph.D. in Software Engineering since 2004 from NDSU, due to mostly being a full time ERP Consultant from 2006. Came back to BD in 2011 permanently, worked for BD Gov. as Chief Engr. to fulfill the dream of laptop DOEL, basically I never had an American Dream only a Bangladeshi Dream which failed in many ways. Worth mentioning I had a short stint of Computational Science studies in GMU during early 2004. This March I had my first paper published on ERP Data Conversion but unfortunately again was unable to attend the conference which took place in Vegas. My previous paper was on Formal Requirements Modelling which only had a weak accept to another conference.

Now a days I more enjoy pondering on "to be or not to be that is the question" and try to mix jazz and local tunes with my Ibanez rose.

In UK, we call it a 'degree' or 'First degree' if you have multiple.

I was in BSL bro, but now shifted to LCLS (Gulshan).
