There are stories that Tiwary practiced batting against pacers with wet balls (I guess wetness helps to produce swings) and from 12 yards. He also spent lots of time in the net against SLAs.

I am interested to see how he does in the coming series.

They have too many right handed batsmen. In my mind, it is an advantage for us. Our bowlers generally seem to struggle against lefty batsmen.

Shouldn't our batsmen worry?
I mean it could be the case that those bowlers have improved.

I won't rule that out. I heard Prasad has done some work on their pacers for the few days he got with them, especially on their consistency bowling in the offstump corridore. I won't undermine him as a coach, he has done a good job with U/19 pacers i.e. Ishant Sharma, Yo Mahesh, and Abu Nachim.

Anyway, I don't expect Indian pacers to become McGrath, Bond overnight. So, if Munaf and RP can trouble the Indian batsmen, Mash and Rasel should be able to do better if given proper pitches.
