Dhrubo, you sure thats SBNCS at Mirpur??
To me, (without my glasses though)..it looks like BNS of Paltan.
There is Baitul Mukarram on the right and Rajuk Bhaban, next to the left floodlights.
But then again...as i say...i'm not wearing my glasses now...

Me too confused. The inside space is also too big to be Mirpur.

hahaha thats the match that I went to!!!! The field of play is absolutely GORGEOUS but the other facilities are not as good. The seats are just plastic chairs, there is not an electronic scoreboard, the bathroom sucks...etc. But I would recommend watching a match there!! Also, there is a big screen but the location of it is kinda strange. I didn't realize it was even there for the first few overs...

Rommel bhaiya,
Back in the days when we used to go watch a cricket match once in a blue moon at the first national stadium - today's Bongobondhu National Stadium, by the Baitul Mukarram if we walked outside the stadium where there used to be a lot of electronics stores, we had to be careful as people from the gallery above would pee straight down over our head as we walked underneath...It was urine everywhere, thank Allah, not much solid waste though, but the stench of urine was very much an integral part of that stadium's surrounding environ and ambaince! Ohh add to that the good smell of box biriyani from the 3 or 4 restaurants at the stadium! I miss those days!

Dhurbo,
I think that is BBNS. Mirpur does not have flood light. And also Baitul Mukkaram is visible

Javed absolutely right about the urine and their yucky smell. Sometime the toilets in the gallery overflows and some portion of the gallery become hell.

Thanks for the Sylhet stadium pics, Mo bhai! I always wanted to know and see pic of this specific stadium! It looks like a very peaceful little ground! Galleries look good! Pitch looks nice! I like it very much!
Is Rubel Rahman your cousin from Sylhet or did he just visit Sylhet from London and you asked him to photos of this beautiful stadium? Thanks to Mr. Rubel Rahman as well of course!
