I used the remainder of the Roquefort a few days ago to make a sauce, which I added to some asparagus ravioli that I had brought over from Berlin. It was pretty decent.

So jealous. The Nandos in Toronto sucks. So does the one in Bangladesh. Might have to make a trip to South Africa for a long weekend.

The Nandos in London are pretty decent too. But the Dhaka ones are downright ripping people off. The prices are on par with UK prices but the chickens are half the size! However, given how they are expanding, people seem to be willing to pay up.

Not really. I usually make my own. Dhali has the Garbanzo beans, Tahini and all of the other ingredients you need. They also sell Cuisinarts nowadays

Our curries, including Mughlai style curries, go remarkably well with Couscous

Coincidental dig. Just made reservations at a Middle Eastern restaurant called 'The original sin' (not sure why).

They supposedly have great great halloumi and moussaka. Will report back anon.

Miss Nirob.

Anyway - dinner was sautéed cabbage and Harissa chicken sausage in a blend of olive oil and butter. Cooked with diced diced carrots and onions and flavored with fresh parsley, salt, pepper, garlic, Italian herbs mix, and a dash of Worcester sauce.

Mashur daal with tomato and panch-foron die bagar is one of my comfort foods. I will even just have the daal as soup I get requests from my wife to make my daal every so often.

Glad to share

Zinat - what's your version like?
