Truth is bitter. According to me, Bangladesh has improved a little bit but In respect to other big teams no improvement is there. In other words , May be the game in international itself has advanced 100 steps , other big teams followed 70+ steps where as we followed 5-10 steps.Miserable. The way Vaughn said, he shouldn't have told like this. But I was expecting truth from someone too. It would have been better if our own management figured that out.

People missing the point, Neth beating Eng has nothing to do with how bad we played.

NZ all out 60.
Vaughn has anything to say about that? After all he is "gonno manno manush".
Waiting for him for his expert opinion.
btw... I feel the other way... that some people is missing the point. Vaugn's comment is related to bangladesh's performance, but in a broader sense, its about "performance" or lack of it in today's cricket.

Is it becuase of text limitation or just he intentionally missed the 2nd part?
i.e
"Netherlands have been so much better than Bangladesh, Ireland and England in this #WT20 #justsaying"
Note:
1. Speculation: Netherland didn't playered against Bangalesh in t20, so who is better is just speculation or opinion.
2. Fact: Netherland played against Ireland and England and they beat both of them. So saying that Netherland was better than Ireland and England in T20 is based on fact.

Vaughan is an attention seeker. He is after bd test status. He should also worried about his team.i am sure if bd can regain
it's 2013 form, England would get a series loss if not a Banglwash. Check Nasir Hossain's ( not our lover boy) statements in post match discussion with sky sports.

So the cycle is like this -
1) Ex cricketer/Administrator/Journalist/Commentator of country X says something that fans don't like.
2) Fans shout at some of the low points of country X.
- If India, it's their overseas performance, if England that they failed to win major tourneys in 700 years, if SA they are chokers, if Pakistan then their inability to host matches ... etc etc (making the list shorter) or even the quality of English of the criticism
- And the high points are never compared , e.g WC wins for India, being WC finalists for England and beating SA in SA/T-20 world cup SF qualification every-time for Pakistan for example.
- Overlook the words of encouragement from many others from the same country X, who are probably tired by now.
3) Fans cushion the BD players, who see a little output in playing better since their performance has little impact on their popularity.
4) Bangladesh performs bad in yet another World level tournament.
5) Back to (1).
Well, in this scale, criticism should be eliminated from the World, if everyone has to include their own criticism as a disclaimer along with the criticism of others.
If I come up with a ranking of teams, Bangladesh ranks will be like this -
In ICC ODI WC : 1999 - 9th, 2003 - 13th, 2007 - 7th, 2011 - 9th
In T20 WC : 2007 - 8th, 2009 - 10th, 2010 - 10th, 2012 - 10th
In ICC U-19 WC : 1998 - 9th, 2000 - 10th, 2002 - 12th, 2004 - 9th, 2006 - 5th, 2008 - 7th, 2010 - 9th, 2012 - 7th, 2014 - 9th.
That's what people/fans/journalists see all over the world.
