With trick plays (fake field goal and fake punts) Rutgar beat So Florida. Excellent planning by the coaching staff. As of Oct 18 2007, this year 25 times a ranked opponent lost to a lower ranked team. Multiple defaulters are Georgia, Rutgars, Louisville and Wisconsin. Rutgars, Georgia and Louisville beat a higher rank team also. So only Wisconcin is highly over-rated by the pollsters.

For the first, in a long time I am happy for Notre Dame. They will not see the post season.

My Arkansas team is playing pathetic in SEC play. They played 3 games lost all three even after having a lead at the forth quarter in all three games. One lost by 3 at bama (didn't call a running play - incomplete pass: which would let bama with no time to come back), one lost to Auburn by 2 at home. The kentucky game was over when the blocked the field goal with 8 point lead only to get a ruffing the kicker penalty and let Kentucky continue the drive. Eventually kentucky scored on that drive. Grrrr!!! I was so hyped up for this season, alas....

USC beat Notre Dame 38 - 0. Enough of the being independant. Get in a league and get your rear hand in week in week out.

UConn beat Louisville, lol. This is Football not Basketball.

Pittsburg stunned (23) Cinci. Another ranked team fell. What a season it has been.
Speaking of ranked teams getting beaten, Tennessee (20) lost to Alabama 17-41.
Florida (14) finished of Kentucky (8) 45-37. UCLA took care of Cal (10) 31-20. Oklahoma St beat Kansas St (25) 41-39. LSU (1) beat Auburn (18) is a last minute play 30 - 24.

Finally Arkansas wins a SEC game against Ole Miss 44-8.

+++++++++

It is time for Boston College (2) to face the music. They will travel to (8) Va Tech. Should be a good game.
(6) West Virginia visiting Rutgars. Revenge is WV's mind. I don't think this would be that easy for the mountainers. Another cracker of a game.
USC (9) going to Oregon (6). No one would have thought USC would be the under dog when the schedule was made.
Florida (9) visiting Georgia (20).
Kansas (12) visiting Texas A & M.
South Carolina (15) taking on the Vols infront to 110k+. Imagine the atmostphere at Tennessee.
Ohio State (1) going to Joe Pa's house. May be Penn State is up for the #1 team.
Cal (18) visiting Arizona State (7).

BCS will have a hard time selecting this years championship matchup.

Spurrier - Fulmer combo punch has put UGA in place. This point of the season even Vandy can say that. However, three SEC home game left and all three winable ones. Any hichupps against Fl or Kentucky would finish their chances of getting to the SEC championship game.

LSU is just too strong. They have already played 5 ranked teams who knows may be three more to follow in this season (without the bowl game). With one loss that is championship material run - That even after three overtime on a road game.

Since last year I have taken a special interest on Mizzu Football. I have looked at some big 12 games also. The last two games would be very difficult and the game at Colorado. That is not a fun place to play. Oklahoma found out early. Congrats to the Tigers. I think Kansas and Oklahoma would duke it out in Big 12 championship game. That match against Kansas should be the season for MU. 1 million or 4 million pay day, which one will it be?

IMO the BCS bowl game spot from the Big East is up for grabs this week with Rutgers vs West Virginia match up I think whoever wins that game would win out and get the automatic BCS bowl game bid.

South Carolina fell flat on there face and the only real test Ohio State has this year is gonna be Michigan. The Big 12 is so weak. If Ohio State does get to the Nat'l title game again there gonna get Spanked again.

Last minutes escape by Boston college made them poise for a national title shot. Boston College has a very favorable schedule. Getting Fl State, Miami at home. and having to play Maryland and Clemson away. Now the only obsticle remaining would be clemson. possibly meeting ACC championship game against Virginia (21). However, their two away win to date were solid. Against Ga Tech (15) and Va tech (8). no other ranked team in the schedule which is regarded as soft schedule. Can LSU beating 7 ranked team topple BC even with a loss?

Great game for Mizzou. They were focused and handed a sound beating to the Buffolloes. KU looked very impressive to me too. They dropped 76 points on Nabraska. Now that is a feat in itself. OU is still going to be #1 in Big 12.

Anyways, the upsets are:
BC, Wake, So Florida and So Carolina. Texas, Michigan, LSU almost lost.

Somethings to mention:
Arkansas Darren McFadden ran 321 yards against South Carolina. Arkansas's rushing total in that game was 542 yards. There is no doubt that it will be injustice if anyone other than McFadden wins the heisman trophy (He was second in the heisman trophy race last year).

Next weeks attraction: (week 11)
Louisville at W Virginia (6). Once this season Louisville was ranked #5. Anything can happen.
Wake got knocked off the ranking. It is time for them to knock off another ranked team. Wake at Clemson (20).
Michigan(11) traveling to Wisconsin. Over-rated Wisconsin is licking their wounds. We may see yet another upset.
Missouri (7) at home facing Texas A & M.
Tennessee (22) will host McFadden and Arkansas.
Kentucky (24) at Vandy. Com'on Vandy.
Georgia (10) hosting Auburn (18). Now this will be a dog fight. The dogs should come out on top. Both have great defense.
Illinois taking a shot at #1 Ohio State.
UCLA has a chance to make things interesting in PAC 10. They will host Arizona St (9).
Texas Tech at Texas (15).
Florida State at Virginia Tech (11).
UConn (16) at Cinci.
Virginia (23) at Miami.
Florida Gators (17) at So Carolina. Steve Spurrier will be waiting.
USC (12) at Cal (24). Com'on Cal.
Kansas (5) at Oklahoma State. I think Kansas would just roll over the cowboys. I am still not sure how they lost the last game against Texas.

Amazing part of his runs are for the last two years everyone knows he is coming. Every team puts 8/9 men in the box (see the video and Ark can't pass the ball) still he gets his yards. And these are teams like SEC. The best defensive teams in the country with combination of speed and strength. LSU, Auburn, Bama, USC, Tenn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky all have tasted D Mac's blow. It was a treat to see him for 3 years up close. He was the best back last year. Obviously no one compete this year. As a sophomore getting runner up at the heisman trophy only to QB Troy Smith (Ohio State). This year there will be one of the best years for running backs coming to NFL. Names like Mike Hart(Michigan), Ray Rice (Rut), Felix Jones (Ark) will take a back seat cause D Mac is the real deal.

The best part I like about D Mac is he loves to hit. Some of the defensive backs had their bell rung by him. They did not know where they were for a time being.

Thanks for the video link Sohel bhai. I bet you loved the SC loss.

Unless D Mac wins this week there is no chance for him to get the heisman trophy. No one ever won a heisman where his team lost 5 games in a season. He had 117 yards against Tennessee but the Quarterbacks could not hit wide open receivers. Every team plays 9 men in the box. Funny even the other two cheats in the line of scrimiage. Almost like 11 against 1. Turnovers killed Arkansas.
-------
Week 11:
Well this week there were more upsets.
Illinois took out the Number 1 Ohio State. 28-21.
LSU back to #1.
(8) BC lol, lost again. The curse continues. Maryland won 42-35.
(16) U Conn lost to Cinci on the road.
(21) Alabama got croomed 2nd year in a row. Mississippi State 17 - 12 over Bama.
(13) Michigan lost to Wisconsin. lol. 21-37.

Well some crucial game waiting next week:
Mississippi State at Arkansas. D Mac com'on!!
(23) Michigan hosting (7) Ohio State. Lloyd Carr needs this one badly.
