yep! I knew what he has to offer to our team! But, you know what, I hope you are not the first one to call for his head when he goes through a bad patch!

Hats off to Rajin ... a century against any opponent .. even against the likes of Kenya or Zimbabwe is great cos it shows a batsman's cool head and good shot selection. When that century comes with a 90+ strike rate it is awesome!!
Congrats once again!!

Well done Rajin, a century was the only thing missing for us in this series.

Excellent job from Rajin and great support from Bashar. Rajin deserve most of the credit today for great finish of the series. Hope he keep his form up.

What an innings!!!!!!!! Congratulations to Rajin.
Specially the way he batted after seeing those 3 outs was amazing.
Let's hope for his consistency.
By the way, these BD players even did not perform like this in local leagues. Does that mean KEN is weaker than any of our league team

Or maybe these players become performers of greater calibre with the experience, exposure and training they get in our nat'l team? They certainly dont seem so cohesive in our leagues, do they?

What did Alok do in the last match. :duh: I used to think we r much more sensible fans than the indians :duh: (sorries and apology for my last statement but I am trying to be frank. I don't mean that I am a very sensible fan".
Any ways, congrats Rajin . I always thought he had a role in the team (although not as an opener) as a one down. But now it seems he is best utilised as opener in ODIs and at 5 in test. there was no doubt at least in my opinion that he will make a come back.
In ODIs:
M I NO Runs AVE 100s 50s
Opening 8 8 0 242 30.25 0 2
3rd position 8 8 0 221 27.62 0 2
4th position 14 14 0 218 15.57 0 1
6th position 3 3 0 42 14.00 0 0
In tests:
M I NO Runs AVE 100s 50s
Opening 2 2 0 34 17.00 0 0
3rd position 1 1 0 7 7.00 0 0
4th position 9 15 0 307 20.46 0 1
5th position 7 11 1 406 40.60 0 3

CONGRATULATIONS TO RAJIN SALEH!
In the Bangladesh Cricket of the past, victory was the second most important thing to us, but now, victory comes first, and then the glories of century, half century, 5 wickets come.
I have never seen such planned innings played by any Bangladeshi cricketer and perfect execution of the plan!
It was only planned and executed by other good players of other test nations, like Ramnaresh Sarwan and others, I believe this was the first time of such a well planned century!

Great knock from Rajin, full of temperament, class and shot selection. Only one chance was given but luck was with him.
I wish Aftab and Ashraful take some lesson from this innings. I also liked what Shahriar said at presentation 'No matter how talented you are, you have perform ur duties appropriately and serve the country'
Hats off to rajin and Shahriar:tiger:

You just reminded me of his slump. Should we get ahead of ourselves by holding up Rajin when thinking of Aus? No doubt he showed EXCELLENT commitment today, but maybe he shouldnt be pressured, and we shouldnt expect wholeheartedly, for him to do this against Aus.

I was actually on the point of using oppertunity. ALok had been getting lot more chances to show his worth. He finally played a great knock last match. But.. Rajin hadnt been that lucky. And. when he finally got one chance.. he took it in both hands. Hats off Rajin

True. He frustrated me a lot as well. I almost wrote him off! hehe. But This innings shows his real potential. He came with lots of promises right from the start of his caeer and after a long stay in darkness, it's nice to see he is becoming a fine player
I cann't emphasize enough about his strike rate and the way he played all aroudn the field. Strokes were solid but there were a bit of luck with the miss stumping, i guess it's a part of any any match.
Good job Rajin for a job well done.
