Default Did you use Willow TV to watch the current series?

I just wanted to know how many BC members used willow tv to watch the series. After all the clamoring and what not, if we don't live up to our word and rather count pennies, then I am afraid, Bangladesh cricket will continue to be ignored by the sports broadcasters.

So if you shelled out the money and bought the series, well done on you. If you didn't because you couldn't, no problems, there is always next time, inshallah. But if you didn't cuz you're cheap, shame on you.

Anways if you watched the series on willow please vote.

Several bufferings, mainly on the second ODI.

I bought it from willow, bit i didn't think the quality was as bad as people had said. It buffered somewhat, but the quality was ok. I also subscribed to boxtvasia to watch the other cricket matches. Their quality for the Ind/Aus test is really good, but not so good for the BD/NZ ODIs.

had they charged even 8 or 10 USDs for the series, i would accept with open arms the quality they have provided. as is, what they have provided, i am pleased. there is nothing like watching and hearing stuff live.

but for the price they should have given good quality.

the free link i had, was just as good and much cheaper.

I bought it during the 2nd ODI...and suffered from several bufferings like Tehsin vai. Not good quality at all for the money. Hope, Willow will improve the quality...for the best interest of their future business.

Quality was not good at all compared to price. I used to have Apnaitv and their quality was much better (at least 400kbs or higher at much lower price). This time Willow is providing streaming at 270kbs.
But I appreciate their effort, as a result I could watch BD match live.

I don't like Willow TV. They charge too much money. I buy the streams from other websites that doesnt cost lot of money. They also provide good quality streams with 350kbs+ speed. We don't need willow tv to watch BD matches. There ar plenty of websites to broadcasting the matches live(except the matches in Zimbabwe/Kenya).

I'm watching free stream for this series. The stream quality was too good. Crystal Clear. Thanks to Tonoy dada.

A bit off-topic: SAB is a part of Sony Entertainment Television. So surely you guys in the US, Canada, UK and elsewhere can get it through Dish TV or something. They're also known for popular but atrocious Hindi sitcoms, so I'm sure some Indian sites broadcast the stuff. Ask Indians about it ...

Probably this time willow had some buffering, mainly in second ODI, but the quality provided by willow so far is the best and incomparable to other small websites (Based on my last 4 years of experience with Willow). Willow is a company, not a private broadcaster who make money out of 50-100 people. They purchase the right for a particular zone, and legally broadcast international matches. There's no competitor of Willow based not only on the infrastructure they have but also their capacity of supporting large scale bandwidth consistently. You might find other small websites which are completely illegal streaming at a better quality then willow as they only could support a very small traffic.

Last but not the least; we should support legal entities like Willow to nurture our cricket future and to make way for other competitors to come forward, so the price gets affordable for everyone.

cuz it's legal. Those of us who are allegedly the cream of the crop and have gotten opportunities to come to the West because of it - if we can't avail of the non-corrupt stuff, then what hope for our impoverished country-men? 20 bucks guys - you blow more on your ciggies probably. যদি কোনো বৈধ ব্যবস্থা না থাকতো, তাহোলে বুঝতাম ...

understand your cause... but its just too much work to get out the visa from the wallet at the bedroom and then come back to the living room to watch the match when you could've just sit at your desk and click about 2 times to watch the match. Not to mention that you wouldnt have to go to the bank by the end of the month(and we all hate going to the bank and wait).
