Default Expectations for 3rd day

Mon kandey, ridoy joley

i say by lunch bangladesh will be all out and will go out to check out the beautiful places around town, do some shopping, i suggest silk sarees, lipsticks, makeup, "kajol", not for their wives but for them, afterall they have lots of time in their hands, why should they waste it on practicing batting bowling fielding etc it has been doing them no good 7 years and still always defeated by innings ? might as well party out in colombo wearing saris etc .. why not its already paid for ..

so what are your expectations for 3rd day?

Might as well buy them for a hopeless Slysaint (joking).

Well, I just hope they play out till the fourth day even if it means they will be all out by the morning session tomorrow.

Meanie
lol

i think the players should be paid their match fees in installments, like for every day they play cricket instead of being paid all at the same time .. it might create incentive to play all 5 days

And soon they might rally out like the Indian players crying foul!

A couple of years ago, I would have supported you idea though .

well indian players are talented most of they know they are world class and therefore has the right in many ways to demand. whereas even "old retired pensioners once upon a time played cricket in gramer school ey" cant do worse than what these so called professionals are doing

forget being paid by day, they should be paid by sessions, to create a proper incentive.

as it stands now, if they play one day or 5 days they still get paid the same. and when was the last time bangladesh lasted till 5th day after lunch?

Since They have plenty of time in hand, they should go visit some SL monkey in the zoo.

I have a feeling that the BD batters will give us a day to remember!!! Hopefully, they will be able to carry their innings tomorrow.

Besides, many teams have played better on the the second innings in this ground compared to first innings... so my fingers are crossed!

The only thing I expect from Bangladesh is to cling on to the bat as long as possible. Not that they can hold on for 2 whole days at least it would minimize the embarrassment.

Keep the expectations limited. I was not expecting such a gritty fight from our batsmen, but know what when today morning I checked out the score I was pretty happy and satisfied with the fight they have shown. Now, don't go and open up another thread on 4th day expectation.
