Are we crossing our limit when we criticise our players?
As I came accross many times we supporters overcooked things when we criticise our players. Sometimes we humiliated our players with personal attacks. We should stop doing this. This is a clip where cricketers are pledging to stop trolling and asking for appropriate punishment .

Fans including us in BC too will mature with time.
Seeing Lanka score 300+ against us would piss me in the past but these days I try to understand that the game has evolved and teams don't necessarily always do well consecutively. However criticism is needed sometimes. Although fan criticism is futile unless in full force Posted via BC Mobile Edition

I am actually appalled by the flak Taskin gets for his selfies and Fizz for playing IPL which was 10 months ago.
I don't care about what our players do about their personal lives Take selfies Sleep with different women often Drink Smoke But if they give 100 percent on the field then that's that Posted via BC Mobile Edition

I criticize, yes. But there's always a limit which basic ethics and morals reach.
I criticize Based on what is happening on the field. Case in point, my Windies team crumbling against a newbie leggie the other say. BD is a stronger team that it was ten years ago,.

Yes there are some bad apples who doesn't know the limits, but they are few.
But most of the fans criticize or praise the players for their performance (justified or not). Sometimes do they go overboard ? Yes they do .... like it or not.... fans who spend their time more than just watching the game are more or less part of the passionate and emotional fans. Also it cuts both ways. The players also need to be professional. Are they all professional? I don't think so.... some of them are, some of them are not. Players need to understand that "fans" are like fire, when you use them in a controlled way, they can be beneficial to you, but if you are not careful they an burn you. So the player should rather concentrate on their performance and not try to exploit their popularity because good form will take them a long way versus popularity can vanish with-in days. I think we, the fans, in general is no different than any other fan base in the world. Like it or not, praise and criticism comes hand in hand.... comes as a package.... you cannot separate them. btw criticizing player's family should always be off-limit. Players should also not help themselves by not exposing/promoting their family members... that will open the door to fans (only the bad apples).
