Thank you i_shoaib!
After SA somehow holds on to a win over Sri Lanka by 1 wkt, this win of Bangladesh over SA is great for Sri Lanka. At least, Mahela won't have to think anymore that bringing India to S8 would make life harder for other teams.

You have no idea for how long and how many times we had the same prayer.....yes, it has become a prayer that Ash plays according to his abilities.

So all I can say is "Amen!"

Yes, after that close game that we lost to the Saffers where Malinga nearly bowled us to a remarkable win, it was more than pleasing to see our brothers from BD finish what we were not able to do, which is crush them!

I am not sure how the wicket would behave for the Eng vs BD game but I really believe that you guys have a great chance of beating the poms tomorrow.

Remember that you guys have nothing really to lose and England and in particular Michael Vaughan will be under immense pressure and the Tigers must capitalise on that and drive home the advantage just like we did when we sent India packing!

IMO BD should look to bat first if they win the toss and put runs on the board and then look to choke the English like you did the Saffers!

You can be rest assured that your Lankan bros will be cheering you all the way!

we have targeted two teams even before coming to WC. one was India and the other one England. So hope plan will come together in that match... hope we lose the toss.

Shoaib, you might not understand what it means in Bangla. But in Bangla, it means "koslani"...means, we have given SA a good koslani.

Now I have no idea what the English translation of that will be. Anyone can lend me portion of their neural network?

I never heard of it. Are you referring to more common "kochlani" ?
It could mean squeeze or strangle-hold.

These two words.... "Dibani" and "Kochlani" ... are solely from classic bangla vocab! I don't think anyone can actually translate the real depth of the words!

Thanks Shoaib,

Sri Lanka is a country which I admire in many ways apart from its cricketing success.

GOOD LUCK TO SRI LANKA, in cricket and in all other spheres of life!
