Attention: Slip Fielders Wanted!
Ok, so bangladesh are without a doubt the worst slip fielding side in the world. I'll bet Bermuda is better in this department than we are. I have lost count of the times some guy was caught napping in the cordon. Mashrafee has probably lost 20 wickets in both forms of the game due to slip catches being dropped with namaaz-like regularity. Factor that in, and mash's stats don't look so bad afterall.
So in the past we have seen Junaid Siddique emerge as geniune slip catcher. He took a catch off Rajib's bowling in a practice match against NZ, then took McCullum off Ashraful, and also had a catch off Akmal (b Mortaza) last week. Indicating he knows how to do it, whether he's catching off a pacer or a spinner.
IMO, slip fielding is more important in Tests simply because you use them more, and a wicket is of much higher importance in the longer version. Which is a good thing since Junaid has pretty much solidified his spot in the Tests with a couple of big 50s.
The question is now, who else do we have who can stand there and take slip catches. I suggest that we keep Aftab in the slips because his acrobating catches from point region indicate that even if he doesn't make the right read first time around, he can hold onto one after juggling it.
Anyone know of any other potential slip catchers we could use as a 12th man in Tests?

my avirage slip catches per match is 0.54 including an avirage of 7 drop catches per match. isnt that a great stats?

Almost all our players 'Slip while Fielding' or 'Sleep while Fielding'
Some players complained getting tired (?) in a 50 over match.
I don't know any kind of Gym instument/exercise which builds 'Tummy' instead of mucles. The physical fitness of our players are too poor. I don't know if the gyms are for show or for doing something useful. Our ground fielding in Pak series had been pathetic. None could even pick the grenade like ball in one go. Accompanied by girlish throws. Untill the physical fitness is taken care, forget slip, we won't be left with any fielders for any position, just 11 ball boys to fetch balls.
