Default Mohammad Rafique is the 8th

Well Rafique is actually joined 7th with Shabbir Ahmed to have taken most wickets in the calendar year 2003, but hey look at the other bowlers:- Ntini, MacGill and Brett Lee has higher bowling average than Rafique has (and lower batting average means that its better).

The real amazing thing is that the ratio of wickets per match compared to Nintini is better... in fact higher than most above him. He played 6 matches... Nintini played 12. If Nintini played 6, he would have had less then 30

In fact I did some calculations and if the top 8 played 12 tests like Nintini... the top would be Murali... Rafique would share 2nd... yes 2nd... with Shabbir Ahmad... Maybe even with MacGill...
Murali 6 wickets per match
Rafique and Ahmad 5.5
Macgill 5.18
