I think i know the problem. I think we have a top secret Nuclear facility under Mirpur pitch which only our cricketers themselves know of. That is why the batsman are always in a hurry to get out so that they can avoid prolonged exposure to radiation.

But why they choose to stay in the wicket fielding? why don't they wish to finish off the opposition batting quickly?

I hope this a blip. We did reasonably well in the last 2 year. I will reserve my comment until the end of the 2nd Test.

After this bismal performance in the first test, I will have to say what's point of trying to save the test status.
Let's see how many tests we have played so far and how any we drew and won!

This is one reason that a lot of your top order batsmen fell to SL pacers..U still underestimate them & the same thing was done by your batsmen & they had to find out the hard way...

The 3 SL pacers (including Prageeth) Have improved by ten folds..IF u had watched the Pak series it would have been apparent to you. Infact most of the time barring the last day of the final test match..The SL pacers bowled better line & length & bowled consistently for a longer period of time than the Pak bowlers

Vass has really made them better than they were a year back

Forget about their past records..because these are not the same bowlers they they were a year back.. u can see the results for your own eyes now..in this match & in the Pak series as well

After the 1st day, when I opened the thread, people were making remarks against me. I hope people understood what I really meant.

Our batsman played like with a poor mindset. The way some of our batsman got out raised questions on what the gameplan was. Although I seemed to have become a big fan of Jugwala, I need to criticize him for being too lineant on the players. After what happened in the first innings, he should have instructed the players to play more cautiously the next day. Sadly, the exact opposite happen and to start things off, Tamim played a retarded shot to get out with only 6 overs remaining.

i thought that the batsmen would have learn something about how to bat in test matches; when they were in the field for that 170+ overs. They should have learn how to build an innings by watching Mahela and company batting. They only lost 6 wickets in two days and if they wouldn't had declared they would be still batting until infinity. Contrastingly, Bangladesh lost 20 wickets in a day and a quarter of batting, the mindset of these batsmen leaves much to be desired. In the second innings, faced with a deficit of near 500 runs, why did all of them played like it was a T20? (Barring that poor decision by Umpire Nigel Long, Mominul wasn't out), But overall the batting sucked, I can't believe their intentions.

Yet another dissappointing performance by the kids.

After a couple of good deliveries, a short ball/leg side delivery follows
