Who is responsible for BD cricket?
If a coach fails to get results then he gets fired (as he should) but shouldnt that also be true for the ones who are responsible for taking care of BD cricket? For so long the team is not performing so why not the BCB goons (kamal and co) get the shaft?

Syeduzzaman @ Kaler Kanta asked some interesting question to BCB.
Guys I know we at BC including myself are bit sceptical about KK and their sports report but there are some valid question raised. So please read it before you make your comment.
and sorry for posting it here as I don't feel like opening a thread.

Letting Grant Luden go wil be a mistake. He has been with this team for a long time now, and no one can raise any question about his dedication. You can't expect the trainer to rid of our player's 'bhuri's' in matter of week or two. Players take part in conditioning camp at max 2-3 weeks before each tournament. If players don't take responsibility of their own health when they are away from the camp, than there isn't much Grant can do in a matter of 2-3 weeks.
As for Pybus taking too many vacation, again this goes to BCB. We heard about this when JS was our coach, there was all those reports about BCB is too lenient and letting him take vacation quite often before and after tournament. You would think BCB would learn from their mistakes and fix it for the future so they don't end up going down the same road again.

Pybus has probably easiest of head coaching job among test playing team coaches. Easy money doing almost nothing. This 20K salary plus another several K worth of benefits per month turning out to be a bad bad investment.
I highly doubt he will bring any positives in the current team...so far I have not seen any...And sometimes you don't need to wait several years to make a judgment...morning shows the day!

He hasn't been in charge for that long. And he is yet to play a full series with the team. Since he came the focus has been on T20. Coming ODI & Test WI series will be his first proper test. Isn't too early to make a call already?

Yep. The BCB is too lenient when it comes to the leaves Pybus is taking. Even during Law's tenure, SL would take a trip every now and then.
And yes, regarding the players' fitness, there is only so much a trainer or a fitness coach can do. If the players don't give a damn about their lifestyle, nothing can be done. Perhaps RP or the BCB can step right in and lay down strict rules or impose harsh punishment.
Eg. ECB has done it with Samit Patel and he has considerably lost some weight compared to 2-3 years back.
Get in shape, get picked. Else, spend your time eating mountains of Biryani on a plate with your other half.
