Hello everyone. I would like to wish the Bangladesh Cricket team every success in their tour of England. Maybe they can pull off a big upset. Did anyone know that there is a Proffessional boxer called Abdul Rashid boxing in England? He is from Manchester and is coached by a good trainer who also trains some other very talented fighters from Manchester. Abdul boxed many years as an amateur and had nearly 40 bouts. He was called up by the Bangladesh national team in 2001 and was part of the squad due to compete in the SOuth Asian Games in Islamabad. Sadly, the games were called off due to the impending war in Afghanistan. Rashid gained respect from the national team coaches who were impressed with his skills and fitness levels. He fights at super featherweight (9st 4lbs) and will be looking to make his pro debut in July. I am sure that he will be very successful and It would be interesting to see if anyone on this forum would like to express an opinion.
