Weather seems like a bigger threat to me at this point.

From Cricinfo:

Have a lot of respect for this guy - he was one of the pioneers of Indian fast bowling, which in itself isn't saying much, but he was a quality bowler with good pace (remember watching him go up to 148 kph, some say he'd hit 150). Not like some of those sissy pie chuckers that India has been producing lately (Ishant, Shami, Stree, Goshami, Ashami, etc).

Speaking of Taskin, found this recent pic of him:

Don't know if he's still unfit. Don't recall seeing his name on the DPL scorecards.

In the article Isam mentioned management is thinking of playing 3 pacers! Have they gone mad or they simply lack common sense? I should watch dumb and dumber movie instead if they play 3 pacers. I know we don't have much cricket sense in the upper chamber but it looks like even the brain cells contain common sense dried up too. Must be the scorching sunshine in Dhaka...

Even then, our win was an away win where for New Zealand, it was a home victory.

You are the damm captain of the home side and after managing a draw, the pressure does not get transferred to the away time who are not much higher in ranking. Pressure is on YOU! Its YOUR side that has been under the microscope!

I don't see anything wrong with Mushy's comment though!

Should Mushy have said that all pressure is on us? Wouldn't that statement create more pressure on our plaueys?

This is to the people who are living in Dhaka atm. Can you guys say a little bit about the weather and likely chance of rain ? I don't want to stay up only to see the match is delayed and whatnot.

^^^ that's not the case at all!

Only change might be replacing injured Robiul with Al-Amin.
There were thoughts of playing three spinners and one pacer, but plan has changed due to rain factor - team MGT might play two pacers now - that is all ...

Lol, calm down there bud, the article stated the pitch will offer some bounce which is a big advantage to pace bowlers, it also doesn't mention anything about the pitch having any turn.

KP bhai you are a very intelligent member in here but this was uncalled for, is it the new cool to bash annanta jolil and blame everything on hasina?, hasina is no saint as is khaleda but she had nothing to do with the drainage system of mirpur

as i see it some bcb guys thought about a new way to steel money, they convinced the higher order that new grass is needed, but in the process they destroyed the drainage system which wasn't their intention but they were too greedy and idiot to understand something like this could happen

If They can claim credit for Gazi's success , then why not give them credit for precious drainage system of Mirpur?

Who appointed Papon? Without PM's approval, no one could be appointed as BCB boss and you know that my friend!

You have to look for the root cause ...
