Taijul as Test captain

Henry Blofeld retired from TMS, will miss him badly and TMS won't be same without Henry! A true voice of cricket.

Anyway we saw fight between Mushy and Fafon recently and Mushy might resign from test captaincy!
What is your option as test captain!

Here is my point..play with 10 players and make mash do the captaincy form the dressing room. we play with 10 players anyway(as we have shafiul/rubel/rabbi etc as 2nd pacer)

Tamim is the best option. He's easily the best player in BD team and he has a good cricketing brain. He should be made our captain in both odi and test format.

Mushy should be forced to retire from his keeping duty and mash should be forced to retire form international cricket.

I think Shakib is our best option at the moment. Shakib al Hasan from 2014 as opposed to Shakib al Hasan today are definitely two different people. I think Shakib has what it takes and he is more mature and responsible now. Tamim is also not a bad option.

If they want three different captains, then make Tamim. If not, Shakib should be the perfect candidate and then once Miraz matures, he can take on that crown.

We've all foreseen the disaster waiting to happen with Tamim as the captain. BPL is a good reminder. No thank you.

I think with the culture in BD cricket it would be very hard for a young guy to take over the captaincy, all the issues with riyad like mash wanting him in, mushy etc players trying to do their own thing with practice (that was a few years ago hopefully things have changed now).

It would just be very tough. I think with the bowlers available now shakib might be good, we have bowlers who can attack and be aggressive, we have bowlers who can keep it tight so it's a much improved team from Shakib's last captaincy stint. But Miraz might be the one to groom, assuming all goes well and Miraz is still performing then in a year or two he can take over vice captaincy then a couple of years after that take over the captaincy role.
