Every 1-2 nights my friend and I take our family cars out to get gas at around 12:30 am when the lines at the stations are manageable, and the gas pressure is good. Every time, the police at one of the 3 different checkposts in our area will somehow stop us down for a random check.

I dont mind them checking our cars, they're doing their job. What becomes a problem is that every time they ask for at least 20-50 taka as cha khaowar taka which we *have* to pay. When its a daily routine this is pure and simple chandabaazi.

Stupid policies like "make your car pretty or else..." only gives these forces the ability to further abuse their authority! That's what.
