Mods: Please allow me to bump this one for this specific message from ATMR. I thought this could be the thread to notify a lot more members although it is FC.

Hi folks!

Those of you who have been around long enough will recall the first avatar revolution in BC when BC-ers changed their avatars to the image in the OP. Now that the ICC Cricket World Cup is around the corner and is being held on home soil for the first time in history, this might be a great time to show our support for the team and the captain. I have already modified my avatar and if you want, please join me by changing yours to the following image:

This is our time and our guests can have anything they want except the world cup. OK, maybe it won't happen thanks to the bunch of sissies we send out to represent us on the cricket field, but let's all get behind the captain nevertheless, as he seems to be the only man in the country capable of leading us to glory. I'll open up a thread later where all of you can flaunt your avy's. Since BC doesn't let me PM more than five people at a time, I'll have to break down my list of recipients. Feel free to forward to anyone you think might be interested.

The first avatar revolution was a success, with many people participating and drawing the attention of Osman Samiuddin from Cricinfo (the goofer ended up publishing an interview with Ashraful instead of writing about the Ashrapullers like he had hinted). On the flip side, the subject of the revolution was more than happy to let us all down with an all-so-familiar string of failures.

Let's change that this time.

I was all for it in the beginning but then noticed the avatar doesn't empower me. The copy is excellent but Shakib doesn't look Tiger-y or mean enough. He looks more like a 10 year old khokababu je gal fuliye boshe ache.

However, what would definitely be cool, imo, if you add your own picture. And who else can do a better p/shop than boss himself? Inundate him with Pms!!

Well the picture is good as a wallpaper, but doesn't really shine as an avatar. Do some rethinking, mod bhais.

Well, I'm gonna have it as my wallpaper and FB prof pic from Feb onwards, anyway. So, no complaints.

Edit: Still you can't really read what it says on it from the avatar pic , but you already said we don't have to care about what problems other people are having. So I'll stay content.

Okay, if you tried to point towards your avatar, then erm it does actually make an impact. But atm I'm exchanging hot words with you, so I'll reserve whatever feedback I have for later.

How about you change the rule just a bit; everyone HAVE to wear a Shakib avatar, but it doesn't have to be that pic. It could be any picture of Shakib al Hasan. That way it will add more color to the forum, and everyone will still be united, at the same time we will have verity.
