Just to add:
Test--positives
Mushfiqur Rahim's potential
ODI--negatives
Field Placements (too defensive..etc. mashrafe should have bowled with a slip in place)

That is a very good point and I consider that a problem with Bashar's captaincy. It is probably too harsh to call him strategically challenged, but his field placements and rotation of bowlers have been appalling at times, especially in the ODIs. I'm guessing it wasn't significantly greater in the test matches either. I just happened to have watched the ODIs.

Not true, there's no Tushar fanclub in this board.
However, there's a bunch of Rana fans who think Rana is good enough to bat at #6.

I am not a Tushar Fan.. but.. I do recon him a good player. He should get few more chances before finally.. shutting him off. No offence here.

I believe, given chances Tushar will make himself a very good top order batsman. To me his profound weakness seems his tendency to go aerial, which sometimes become fatal. However, this might inturn be good prospect for the team considering the new formats for more fielding restrictions........I should also voice that he should be given some more exposures......

Agreed quite a lot with you about Tushar. After watching him play.. the first impression I get is that he defintiely has a class inside him. His biggest weakness his arial shots. He really needs to work out that at the nets. Otherwise.. he has other things that can make him a good batsman. He has a good backlift, and his front foot movement is very lively (not like JO.. stuck in between frontfoot and backfoot), his defence looks not that bad. He seemed to play the short pitched ball with ease. I will not say he is a wizkid.. but.. with some work out,,, he should be able to score decent in regualr matches.
