BCB team will play T20 matches against KKR in Feb 2010 !

The BCB's board of directors, who convened in Mirpur today announced that the IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders, of which Mortaza is a part, will be playing three exhibition Twenty20 matches against a select BCB team between February 1-5 next year.

from a marketing standpoint, he will most likely play for KKR. This way fans have something to cheer for on both sides.

KKR is coming to senses to its original intent.. pull the crowds of both Bengals. However, I think this was Watmore's idea to get some decent practice match against a full house crowd and Shahrukh's idea to get the fan base expanding. But if I am not mistaken, the national team will be in New Zealand or coming back from it when KKR is planning to play.

Maybe they should field the Dhaka Warriors side.. What? lets see if what they've got!!

You could bet all your money that most of the roster would include DW players...Kapali, Reza, Rafique, Mahbubul Karim + new guys like Mithun, Shamsur, rony....

Maybe Anamul then? He could also open with Tamim and we can save Aftab down the order to launch an onslaught in the last five overs.But if not I would put Mushy ahead of Dhiman and Pavel because he has shown he can be aggressive when needed. He blasted 80 something off around 60 balls for Biman recently.

And maybe Ash shouldn't play as he already has an IPL contract. That spot can be used by someone else to impress KKR and get a contract.

Yeah I agree. I think the U-19 WC will be over by then. If it does, we can surely try Anamul in our T20 team; against the KKR and also in the Int T20s with T20 WC coming ahead.

Let the Academy side or total new choice only for T20 play those game.

Like Ziaur Rahman, Rony Talukder, Asif, Anamul Haq kind of players who are promising can be given the chance.

KKR is coming here to make Dhaka their market. It's all business. We should not fall for that. Remember we have PCL guys. This PCL stuff needs more marketing and advertisement.

u hav a good selection of players. i am just doubtful abt shafiul islam. i wud rather want to see either Nazmul or Dolar Mahmud instead. otherwise a good team ! cheers !
