Alok is out of sort, in his first match in a while he's given the task of scoring 12 runs/over. Of course his timing is off, he needs the time to settle in international cricket playing against teams like Zim....not Oz.

I'm not saying he's a good batsman, I don't want him in the team either because I think he's over hyped. But I got to be fair to the guy.

Just like this guy said on Cricinfo:

Boris: "Game 1- zero intent to chase down a tough but gettable score. Game 2- Outdone by a great innings but just kept feeding Watto in his slot, never believed. Game 3- Chasing a big score, showing intent, and then shutting up shop after they lose a couple of wickets. Its pretty clear what the problem is. They dont think they can win. "

and also look at his average... high teens.... and look at the rest of the batsmen, they are on around 30... Nafees may be an exception, but he had the highest average anyways when he left for ICL. so on an average Jamie has added 60 runs to the teams total... and that is an improvement... another 60 runs, you are as good as anybody really !!

The batting line up totally baffles me. Why no Mashrafee and Shafiul? This is one reason I want Siddons era to end. Time to get out of that rigid strategy mentality.
