CHV, RK, SS. Have been weaklinks, weaker performing sides in all aspects, generally. I wanf CHV to finish bottom, RK second bottom and SS likely to finish 5th.
That is what Sabbir excels at. Even though he knows half the time, his *** is on the line, he still plays aggressively and doesn't not alter his playing style, even if his position in the side is in jeopardy.

Remember the Sri Lanka match which we won in T20? We were like 3 down I think and the first thing he does after he walks in his whack the bowler all over the park and scores like 20 runs in an over. (I think!)
Soumya needs to do it too. Especially when Shamim goes to the bathroom during commentary. LOL
If it doesn't pay off, you will hear all sorts of things from the duo. Earful after earful. So is aggressive batting a gamble and a risk? Partially yes. You do have to take your chances and count your chickens.
Do you know why people reach plateau in their run? Routine. Routine is the ultimate enemy and you need to switch the pace or the time or the route. Brain will get confused then. Point being, you need to get out of your comfort zone. Flow (Csikszentmihaly) works best in a state of arousal and risk taking stage....when you are being sufficiently challenged and stimulated.
When you lose all your fear, you find your natural self. Kinda like what Yuvi did after his recovery from cancer. He came out of the shell.

Dark night of the soul precedes Liberation.
Very well said.
Yea. Soumya has an anchor tying his heart and batting style down, he needs to let go of his past performances and focus on his present. If he can get in the zone and have the proper attacking mindset,he can take any bowler in the world to the cleaners. This applies not only to him but all our top-order batsmen.

Absolutely.
And this is a touchy subject. And it is not my intention to derail the thread. But we have to address the ganesha in the room: Soumya needs to get out of the victim mentality mindset.
He (AND EVERYONE of our players) need to watch this.
Well, I am confident that it will look much, much better. But if you will humor this old sailor for just a moment, I have a few suggestions that may help you on your way to a better a world. And while these lessons were learned during my time in the military, I can assure you that it matters not whether you ever served a day in uniform. It matters not your gender, your ethnic or religious background, your orientation or your social status.
Our struggles in this world are similar, and the lessons to overcome those struggles and to move forward — changing ourselves and the world around us — will apply equally to all.
Quote:
SEAL training was a great equalizer. Nothing mattered but your will to succeed. Not your color, not your ethnic background, not your education and not your social status.
Soumya needs to just stop giving a f*ck. Just go in there block everything out, the crowd, the coaches, the players. Just you and the bowler, who cares what others think. You can see in his facial expressions when he bats, he knows his career is on the line.

Heck you should coach the BD national team, they seem someone dominant and able to take control.
I want to be consultant for the Tigers. But first I need to set up a credential. For me, attaining photographic memory is the path. To show nothing is impossible. I am almost half-way there.
