Default Breaking News!!! Drive by bomb attack at south gate of Bangabhaban as Iajuddin was going out

From BDNews

Quote:

Dhaka, Nov 20 (bdnews24.com) – A motorcyclist exploded a powerful bomb at the south gate of the Bangabhaban Monday when President Iajuddin Ahmed was going out to talks with advisers.

The president used the north gate.

bdnews24.com Senior Correspondent Abu Sufian who was on duty there saw a small crater on the road. The attacker fled the scene, witnesses said.

RAB intelligence officials told bdnews24.com that the drive-by bomb attack came at 6:02pm when security personnel were busy clearing the road for the president to travel to the Chief Adviser's Office in Tajgaon.
Now, this is exceeding every limit of civility.

Shmeful and disgraceful. I am quite sure this attack is to create more anarchy and atrocity. Disgusting.

True.

According to the situation, BAL is the most possible contender for this disgusting act.

Pathetic...

If you want the president to resign then find other legal ways to get it done.

It's not only disgusting, it's shameful to such an extent that the people involved with this plan should get nobel prize in shamelessness.

Any news casualties?

While I do not support such acts of violence, we have to understand that BAL is only using it as a last resort. Such violence is being done only to protect democracy.

Also lets not forget that 99% of Bangladeshis support this attack on Iajuddin.
After all, how many people did you see protesting against this attack? This means the populace supports BAL in its acts of violence,

LMAO. Buddy, me thinks you live in your dream world where BAL is the one and only ruler and whatever they say is like the unwritten truth. Wake up and read the newspapers. NO SANE citizen can support the violence that has engulfed the nation at present. BAL had the opportunity to come to power this time because people were fed up with BNP's blatant corruption. HOwever their antics on the streeets would cost them that now. Thank god for that. This would open up for an interesting election where people( sane ones' who think for themselves) wont want to vote for either BAL or BNP and this would open the door for other parties. If we have a fair election it would be interesting to see who forms the government.
Important thing to note: none of these two parties could come to power if we had a third party. BNP came to power because of BAL's misrule and the same could have happen to BAL ( god forbid). I think BAL is the greater of the two evils and my hatred for them is evident from my posts I guess. This is not because I support some other party but based on what I have seen with my eyes during the BAL rule.

Hasina and BAL party leaders promissed bloodshed numerous times...
She will do anything to snatch power.
She promised that more people WILL die
No other party or politician had promised that.
BAL party keeps it's words, when it comes to violence and mayhem.

I ban you from being "The Awami League Supporters". Who said this is a form of violence? This is just a normal act of citizens showing freedom under the umbrella of democracy.

Signed,
S Hasina.

I wonder if we're becoming like the Afghans. When the US forces invaded Afghanistan a few year ago, I remember an American journalst interviewing locals. In the background there were bombs going off in regular interval yet the kids were more interested in the camera equipment of the journalist. They are so used to these explosion that they remained totally oblivious, the camera caused more curiosity than the bombs.
