This Win is Special
I think the Team Has shown a huge Character in today's match. Winning this match without much contribution from Shakib and Tamim was really special. While Shakib didn't get any wickets but he helped by keeping the run rate down, but Tamim was abosoluteoy Zero. Infact negative contribution if you consider the dropped catch.
But the team has shown huge ability which was unthinkable a couple of years before. If we don't destroy this team by too much fiddling, I'm sure we will see a very stable team in the future from here on....These are the kinds of competition that will bring us out of that tag of Minnow.
This win is pretty special for me, than the previous wins we have had against the bigger teams, because we have players who are no more looking at one or two players to do it for the team, everyone is capable of taking responsibilities. That's what makes this team TRULY SPECIAL

This is now the S and M team.
Yes Shakib of course.
But I like the two other Ss. Sarkar and Sabbir. Brilliant fielders.

As for Ms... Mushi, Mahmudullah, Mashrafe... bring in Mominul soon. (he will come good)

The new players are making this team what it is today. The impact of Shoumya Sharkar, Shabbir and Taskin have been huge. They have brought in that x-factor, and their determination is visible and praiseworthy. So proud so proud!

what I loved the most was the fact that the team bowled, kept going at them, and Mashrafee's captaincy was so brave...Kept pace on all the time, and didnt get spinner on as Normal we used to do before, Mash should guts, he came back and removed Hales, one stage it looked so easy for England, England were comfortable, Mash bowled a bad delivery that over but kept going, and he was rewarded with Hales wicket.
The whole, pace bowling effort, was unseen in our short cricket history. Well done Lads!

they easily save about 15-20 runs, and don't forget that increase chance of run out.

Definitely the new players are of much better quality, interms of skills and attitude. That's how now we have a complete team. It's not dependent on one or two players anymore. While it's good to have players like Shakib who can single handedly win you matches, but while he has an off day, team shouldn't put their hands up. That's what we can see now, in this team.

Yes Yes Yes
Some of us were asking for new players (instead of recycling the old rejects) for so long... finally BCB, selectors and coaches are doing that and unlike what we heard for so long that "we don't have alternatives" turn out to be a BIG BIG LIE. Out of nowhere SS is playing as with such confidence and style in AUS pitch and tat WC, he never looked like over matched. Taijul, Jubair, Sabbir, Mominul ( in test) they all have similar success stories.
So next time if BCB tells you "we don't have substitute for Tamim" for example, don't believe them.

WE have to make sure that BCB can NOT manipulate this win to cove up their lies and wrong doings ...

The fall of Tamim Iqbal after the drop catch shows the legacy he carries on through his uncle. Go back and watch it again and again. And he fell like "Dhopash" jeno ekta "hodol kutkute" chele.
Someone pay for his liposuction .

There are risks of bringing in underprepared talents into the national team. We have seen many casualties of this practice so far ... Not everyone can evolve under such pressure. So there is always a dilema. National team is only for fine tuning, we can't use it for development of raw talents.

Money can buy you expensive cars or a rolex on your hand or luxury vacation
But
This win was priceless
This is what means to be a BD fan. Yes defeats are hard and there always knee jerk reactions. However, these wins for cricketlovers and Bangladeshis all over the world is priceless. It gives more pleasure than many other extravagant things in life.

My only worry is if Mushy gets out cheaply whether the lower order can still cope and get the runs. I would really like Shabbir and Nasir to form a partnership just like Shakib and Mushy does so often for the team

Thats the question. having Mushi mean top order can have mental support that we still got some batsman to come.
