It's a good news but I somewhere dont feel content, not because of their performance but for the little we do for them. With all the negative we hear about BCB, I wonder if BCB pay them enough or offer them any incentives for good performance. Not to mention, we dont have BPL, IPL or NCL for them and BCB dont have a plan to increase international standard practice and league facilities in Bangladesh, for both men and women......

I just fear we dont loose them. We have talent here, we need to offer them incentives so that they see a future and get motivated.

We have an awesome captain in Salma! Brilliant bowling rotation!! Loved the comments on cricinfo!

With the India win vs Pakistan, Bangladesh will now face off with Pakistan in the 2nd SF. India meets SL in the first. Both games on the 30th.

Now THIS is a special achievement. Eishob China/Mongolia ke harano bepar na, but beating Sri Lanka is definitely an awesome feat.

Next up: Pakistan. They should be VERY scared.

Really. What was the game plan? Get out by 70 and have Sl relaxed? This win has nothing to do game plan or may be the coach. Only that the girls believed that could do it.

^^ when you have positive minded coach, he can relay that self believe among players. About gameplan, just read the cricinfo commentary and see how nicely the game was managed during bowling. Fielding was also superb which was our weakest point....

Now

India Women vs
Sri Lanka Women

1:30 local Steady drizzle and almost everyone has left the middle, they have stopped the mopping effort. Just a few Sri Lanka players out there playing football.
With just one hour left, I see no chance of the first game starting now. There will an official announcement soon and If the game is called off India will go through to the final since they topped the pool table.

12:20 local "Called-off" - it is official now and so India go through to the final.
Conditions starting to improve here so the second game is very much on...see you at the other window.

Bangladesh Women v Pakistan Women

http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engin...ch/584928.html

if the game is abandoned then Bangladesh will go through

Toss - Pakistan captain has called it right and they will field first.

13:40 local Moments after the captains left the field it started to drizzle and the stumps had to be pulled out to bring in the cover. A very light drizzle and just the one cover in place at the moment.

Nazza!'s now retired sisters would not have let this happen. Class is genetic.
