Rajin will make his Test Debut: Janakantha
Today's Janakantha reports that Rajin Saleh will play his debut test match against Pakistan in tomorrow's 1st test. Ashraful will be the one out from the test eleven.

Ash needs to play. He is THE long term prospect one should build the franchise around.

I have an opinion on Ashraful. He does not seem to be in good relationship with new coaches. He lost his way when Mohsin Kamal and Ali Zia took over. He is now again losing his way when Whatmore came into the picture. I think that he needs time to adjust with new coaches. One cause behind this may be that he has trouble in communicating with foreign coaches in English?

I would like see Rajin in the test.
He has been playing quite well for the last couple of seasons.
This is the chance he should utilize.

I wanted to see this guy in test as well but why he had to replace Ashraful, he could have replace anyone else. Wait, who else could he have replaced? I don't see anyone else

I really don't care much for the change. I want to see Bangladesh perform better and make us proud.
I sure hope Rajin does a geat job. The question is why no one ever considered him before?
Bad luck to Ashraful, he might go in to the wilderness soon.
Faruque seems to have given him an ultimatum. So, he may get yet another chance! The last chance to be precise!

Be assured that Ashraful is not going to fade away..
This guy is a great talent. All he needs to do is,
1) Put on some weight, increase his strength. His Hooks and Pulls are costing him too much because of this lack of body strength.
2) Go through concentration training.
3) Continue his education.
4) Improve his communication skills.
5) and Leave the past behind ( Good and Bad things that have happened )
I'll hate to see this talented kid in the sidelines just because no one is training/guiding him properly these days.

Considering the way Ashraful threw his wicket in the 3rd ODI in Australia and the time when he played that shot (BD 4-36, Ash played 7 balls), it's hard to imagine that Dav is very eager to have him in the first 11. Ashraful has great talent! Hopefully he'll get his act together and perform well in the future.
Good luck to Rajin!

Ahsraful can not fade away. A lot rests on his shoulder. If he applies himself he can be the "once in a genrationa batsman" that we are so desperately looking for.

Oh Ashraful knows it alright (it = he can be the "once in a genrationa batsman"), but does he know that Bangladesh's fate is dependent on him? How can I say it, - dOES HE have it in him to shoulder so much of responsibility?

I'll keep close eye on Rajin. I hope he will consistently bat better and stop our regular middle order collapse.
