Thats Ok Roy.
I am open to things and respect world religions.
I am a Pentacostal.
Whilst we believe in the resurection,we additionally believe in baptism full immersion dying to 1's self, and the baptism of the Holy spirit.
The holy spirit came on the day of Pentacost in the book of Acts.
It manifests itself with the speaking of tongues.
From there we believe in the gift of prophecy, words of wisdom etc.
We also believe despite all the gifts that without love you are nothing.
So we belive in charity, like the Muslims.
Hope that helps.

Some hadith (sayings) of Prophet Muhammad about End of the World

Quote:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj." They said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is "Al-Harj?" He said, "Killing! Killing!" (See Hadith No. 63, Vol. 8)

Quote:
Narrated 'Abdullah and Abu Musa: The Prophet said, "Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which Religious ignorance will spread, knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and there will be much Al-Harj, and Al-Harj means killing."

The above seem to be occurring very rapidly.

Beatific vision,interesting readership.
I believe god can talk to you, have had this on a number of occasions, god telling me some things.
I have had dreams and they came true.
My grandmother appeared in my dreams smiling, for weeks I had these dreams, she died two weeks later.
Mum told me grandmother is dead,I responded i know.My grandmother was a stern catholic and very devout, she also had dimentia and was virtually a vegetable.
I think this was God.

Agree with the view religious ignorance will spread,I see it here,it also says in the bible their will be a falling away of faith by the saints.

Pentacostalism started in 1908 with the move of the Holy Spirit in North America round Los Angeles of all places, and many were baptised in the holy spirit. It was called Azusa' street revival.
This movement quickley spread the world in the welsh revivals, and round the world.
It effectively was the start of pentacostalism and the start of 2 new denominations,The Assemblies of God and Church of God.
1 noteable figure was the evangleist Smith Wigglesworth, and he prayed for Max Mannix who took it too the mainstream churches, this was called the charismatic reviveal.

I don't believe in Saints being beatified as such,i believe christ is the intercessor not the saints.
