I'm sorry for the limited information you have in McInnes' contribution. Sadly, there are not too many resources to point to, so you could catch up ...

I think after what I say people will be after my heads...... I think Siddons is a much better coach than Dav Whatmore ever was, because Dav thought to have success for a short term and didnt care about working for the long-term and didnt spend much time improving the individual skill of our players. If you observed, you will see that, under Siddons, we have won matches more consistently, and even in those, that we haven't won, we put up a fight unlike the old times under Dav Whatmore, where we won matches with huge gaps in between them and rarely put up a fight in the ones we lost. You have to remember, for a team like Bangladesh, the batsmen that come into the national fold arent as completely skilled like other countries and so you need someone like Siddons to work and fix up those holes. We need Siddons but once the skill level of the team as a whole has gone up we can look for other coaches who are better with strategy. Siddons has a good tempermant and is straightfrward and the players seem to like him and the team looks alot more professional under Siddons than it ever looked under Dav

Earlier I posed this question in a different thread where it may have sounded out of context...Dav Whatmore's last assignment as coach was the series against India in '07 and Jamie Siddon's first was against NZ, i was wondering who coached the team in between during their away series in SL?

Shaun Williams who was the academy coach or was it the development coach at that time.

I wonder where Siddons will end up after being done with Bangladesh team. At best, he prolly can ask South Australia to take him back as their batting coach, but then again he does not want the labor of helping batsmen in nets. If he had any brighter future, he would have left Bangladesh team long ago.

I think he will not be a bad coach in the associate level like head coach of Quatar.Where he will show basics to the players.
