i do agree, perhaps in tests shamsur and imrul should be the starters so tamim can rest (they did both get centuries), shuvagata can take riyad's spot with taijul taking razzak's spot. in ODIs anamul should come in for imrul so we start with anamul and shamsur, shuvagata can take riyad or nasir's spot, shabbir can factor into the shorter formats to.

This is where it'll be interesting to see what coach H does with the likes of Tamim and Nasir and especially with Riyad and Razzak. He's going to see the challengers such as Imrul, Shabbir, Shuvagata, Taijul and Arafat as well in camp. Hopefully he has a plan set for all these players so they can all get to performing at a high level. It's not just important to have a strong 15 but also it's important to have strong depth if we want to compete with the other Test nations.

Pretty much the usual suspects. Of course I'd love to see each and every one of these guys representing our people do well and make a contribution, but to be honest, I'm not holding my breath.
Tamim, Nasir and Shohag have been on a downward spiral and I thought they needed a break. Razzak hasn't been a viable strike bowler in any format for about three years now. Riyad's selection regardless of form no longer confuses me at all. I've never witnessed anything extraordinary in Taijul but I reckon he won't do worse than Razzak. Similarly, Mukhtar won't do any worse than Zia. I've never been high on Ayub, or SR Shubho but at this point, don't care if they're in the team. I want whoever wearing our colors to succeed and more importantly, SUSTAIN that success. Again, I won't hold my breath.
Excited to see Hom and Rumman in the team. I rate their potential highly and hope they do justice to their genuine talent if given the chance. Hoping to see some signs of overall improvement in cohesive team battling, at least some solid bowling with accuracy and venom, and fielding. Improvement in captaincy due to direct intervention by the new coaching staff would be welcome but unlikely.

Yeaaah maa boi Imrul Kayes back in the national team ! Imrul should be an inspiration to us all. Even though he was unfairly dropped from the national team in the first place even though he carried the batting for Bangladesh in the 2011 World Cup, he worked on his batting all day and all night. Why you ask? Cos he has the determination, hunger and the vision to succeed. He might have his haters, but he turns his haters in his motivators. His ambition to succeed cannot be matched by anyone in world cricket. A true world class batsmen when on song, Imrul Kayes is here to f*** s*** up. Unlike Tamim who gets a free ride into the national team, Imrul did the hard yards to get to the top of the food chain. On top of that he possesses unlimited amount of swag.

It's time for the coach to evaluate whether the presence of Tamsha helps or damages the team. We did fine against NZ and WI prior to the rot

In ODIs and t20s I don't see why tamim has to be a must which is why I think he should be rested in those formats while he's so badly out of form. Tests is more of a question but with his form and the length of time it's lasted there is no indication of him coming back to form anytime soon and he's useless in the form he's in.
He should no longer he an auto choice when we have other options in imrul, anamul and shamsur.
