Sichuan restaurant. That's the place people will ultimately remember him by and where Ash fans would find solace. Cardiff comes close second.

Deshdrohi - so quite a bright future - maybe even an actual ambassador some day, not just a cricketer who 'represents' Bangladesh.

Its funny how one of my friends who dosent know much about cricket asked me about Ashraful while i was bowling in the nets a couple of weeks before lanka tour. He said "whats that guys name? Who plays for bangladesh?" I replied "shakib? Tamim?" Then he said " no!..Ashraful! Ye.. Him!.. He still around or??.." I replied " na bro hes gone..to inconsistent avgs like 20.." Then he was pretty surprised and the convo faded out..a week later Ash would be in Lanka and about to score the first double by a bangla player...Sums up Ashs career i guess..

Voted with Shipon and R_S.

Also because the number of fish in the basket is not only very close to the number of test 100s he has, but also because that's what has been making him throw his wicket away for 13 years and counting. He gets out either trying to hit an unnecessary 4 or immediately after hitting one.

'Batting of Ash, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty —a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of painting or music, yet sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show. The true spirit of delight, the exaltation, the sense of being more than Man, which is the touchstone of the highest excellence, is to be found when willow of Ash rules the 22 yards and its surrounding, as surely as poetry'

or,

'ordinary/typical brain farter'

Let's hope the allegations against him aren't true otherwise one thing we can be certain about - History won't treat him kindly
