Default Poll: Still want to see Dav Whatmore as our coach?

After all of his latest rubbish (taking part time "summarizer" job, signing new contact with "get out" option, remaining interested about Indian job after signing new contact.....),

do you still want to see this man as coach?

Dav Whatmore has done a good job so far. Cricket in Bangladesh has advanced under his watch and will continue to improve even if he leaves.Without speculating what he is going to do in future, we need to exhibit a little more confidence in him. He admitted that his expectations are not as high as he set them before. But not to thank him for where we are now would be unreasonable.

we should still say thank-you to him. .

Last time, I voted yes. However, now I am disgusted by his greed and unprofessionalisom.

I voted no.

I think that putting up a poll like this is a direct dishonor to Dav's committment, dedication and success during the last two years.

Spitfire.....your name says it all. You literally spit fire, poison, bull, whatever u call it.

Dav's current attitude is a dishonor to himself. We can't respect him for is past work if now he behaves the opposite. Perhaps we can give him a good farewell for his past work, but that's a totally different thing.

I'm one among the last few people who jumped on Anti-Whatmore wagon. I wasn't against him even when he started stating "interest in indian job' publicly.

Maybe, but you don't have to continue his "dishonorment". Let him do it. I just can't believe this kind of poll is up after all that he's done for our cricket.

all contracts usually contain some sort of clauses in them... its not our job to get into Dav's head and controlling his thoughts and wishes... Dav is supposed to be the coach of Bangladesh national cricket team, and lets judge him on that, and NOT on his personal desires.

The man has signed a contract extension, and do I want him to continue his extended tenure? YES, but if he decides to leave just before his team's crucial England tour, we will certainly feel ditched, but we dont have the right to put the blames on him.

You are very much right aosaif, Dav deserves a lot for everything he has done so far for the BD team, but remember the old saying:

'Its hard to gain trust & respect ..... and even harder to get them back.....'

I voted no, because, None of the Bangladesh team player can listen to this guy seriously any more, every time he is instructing them to do some thing, they are thinking, "You greedy busturd, we know you will be gone tomorrow for a better opportunity".

I have no respect for this guy what so ever. Yes he has done good for the cricket team but it wasn't for free. If I was Bangladesh official I would kick the guy out tomorrow. Only with Bangladesh team he can pull a stunt like this and still keep his job.

True! But it is also true that the clause of a contrct should also be kept confidencial and deserves a concealment between the two contract parties. Did BCB also beat the trumpet of any single clause signed between them and Whatmore in public?? No! This is quite unethical, unprofessional and selfishness to publicly unreveal any clause of a contract for one's own interest.
