Bangla Font Embed...

hello all

Can some one please tell me the whole process of bangla font embedding in a Website ? Is there any software other than WEFT?

Can anyone describe the whole process ? জানালে খুশি হবো ৷

You type bangla, you post bangla - in unicode.

what is there to know?

and check out IME documentation for spellings, atleast get Bangla right

You can use CSS to make font downloadable. I haven't tested it and not sure about complete support from browsers, but here it is:

WEFT is a non-standard thing, from MS (afaik).

hmm I was right Orphy! You changed it later. Check that thread again! You also need to learn how to copy paste properly.

Nope. WEFT is the one. And these fonts only work for IE.

With the advent of unicode-compliant browsers and all kinds of Bangla unicode fonts, Bangla web fonts should become obsolete.

Except for the techies at Prothom Alo, who still use embedded fonts for their website. Juger shathe taal miliye chola ekei bole. Not.
