Default Day and night test matches

how about new look for the test matches.. playing under lights and color cloths and with white balls..?

not every game but occasionally inorder to make tests more attractive...

Some test grounds are very big... batsman can run four runs yet ball does not reach boundry... how about making test match grounds more shorter than ODIs inorder to increase the runrate and inorder to make game more attractive..

Players are not Robot..u see.

They have their own body system..

even after 90 overs..they looks exhausted ...and how can u think like that..

Think about 150 over in first day...do u think they are gonn able to play next day...NEVER !!!!!

At least for Mashrafee...We can't hav him tired and exorsted ..for the next day.. U get me now..!!

Hope so

Horrible Idea. The players will be at the hospital by day 2...

Test Cricket is good as it is. Its ODIs that needs fixing.

I am sure he didnt mean 8 sessions per day... a delayed start leading up to a late finish... am I right?

eitherways... its a strict no no... i am not one for holding on to traditions but this is overkill... kono dorkar nai... test is fine as it is.

I think shortening of the duration may be more on the order. Like playing 4day test matches. I think our beloved Mr. Boycott also suggested that but got not attention because of his "mother of all comments".

Not a good idea the shadows would at up the batsmen. If you see when ash hit his 94 the shadows were his enemy and not the English bowlers.

By the way, one of the thing I like most about the test cricket is the lunch break. I don't want to give that up. Wasn't it lovely to go out of Banga Bandhu Stadium, grab some street food and return just in time for the game to resume? Ah! gone are those days. I wonder if Mirpur Stadium will have the same appeal!

The great thing is that through all the experimenting, different rules and ideas being thrown around and vast changes to the game test cricket has remained pretty much the same.

I'd like to keep it that way

I like the day night test idea.

Currently as is, you really want to see a whole test, you must take a week vacation. If it becomes day night, you can go after work and enjoy each day of solid cricket.

Lot more people will show up. It will be good for test cricket to regain the dominent popularity it lost to ODI.

i agree to mahmood, test cricket will go through changes to survive. playing 5 days in daylight was ok 50 years ago, not now. i can see in my crystal ball, 20-20 is the future of cricket

Night test matches is not a good idea. Stick to the tradition of day tests.

Icc excuse is the the white ball doesn't last as long as the red ball, white ball loses its colour very quickly compared to red ball.
even in odi they have to change the ball 35/40 over.
