Well who really cares, the players are now rich. The owners are now rich. And the TV companies are now rich. The IPL is now rich. I mean players who haven't played are now rich for heating up a bench.

but he wasn't the captain then
ya he is a good decision maker,good leader,solid wk but Sanga has performed better,I think Dhoni is a lucky charm cause during his captaincy Ind batting looked stronger than ever,I remember many matches where Dhoni even didn't need to contribute with the bat.

Well. . . Under Dhoni, India have only beat Bangladesh and New Zealand in away tests in the past 10 years I think.
