Default WI Pacer Watch

WI have a long line of seriously good pacers, they've been a bit lacklustre in recent years for the most part but they seem to have some good talent coming through all at once and close to the same age.

Oshane Thomas
Odean Smith
Keon Harding
Kemar Holder
Shakeem Clarke
Alzarri Joseph
Ronsford Beaton
Reynard Leveridge

Most are around 19-21, Beaton and leveridge are older. Heard that most of these guys are quite rapid to, maybe WI fast bowling will make a resurgence with this group of young men!

Which of these bowlers were in the U-19 WC winning team?

I know Joseph was there. Who else?

Ray Jordan was also promising, not sure where he's been the last couple of years. They also had jofra archer who did play u19s for WI but he's almost qualified for England now.

Springer also is a pacer, but more of a batting all rounder.

Yeah Keemo Paul is more of a batting allrounder than a bowling one.

I have him in my team on Cricket Captain 17.
Won be some First Class games with both bay and ball.

Apparently shakeem Clarke went on a 3 month program to South Africa last year, chemar holder this year will apparently come to Australia for 3 months. Both are really good prospects, oshane and leveridge are in the squad for the next A team series so hopefully these experiences will help these guys and windies cricket come out of the trough they are in. Hopefully shai hopes heroics in the England test series are just the start.

We are currently batting first in the A team matchup against Sri Lanka A team...

Sunil Ambris with a half century.

I'm more interested in our pacers.

Yeah, no problem

I think he is the fastest bowler in the caribbean at the moment.

I'll keep on uploading more videos soon.

What did you think of the Rahkeem delivery in the video from around the wicket to the right hander?

Dominic drakes might be another young fast bowler to watch, 19yr old, apparently has good pace (according to tino best). Is he a 2nd generation cricketer? Vasbert drakes son maybe?

St Clair looks very composed in his bowling run up to the crease. Very accurate bowler.

Shakeem Clarke was dropped from the Barbados squad, replaced by keon harding.

Keemo Paul has filled in nicely for Kemar Roach...in his first two games

4 wickets at 21 a piece... at an economy rate of 4.50

PLus he can bat as well.

I do hope he learns alot from bowling coach Alfonso Thomas.,

At this moment, he is a green Jason Holder to me.

So Windies A-team pacers have knocked out India's A team for 192 in the 2nd unofficial test...

Raymond Riefer with a five-wicket haul: 5 for 50
Oshane Thomas:3 for 66, was a bit expensive going at over 5 an over
Sherman Lewis with 1 for 31
Romario Shepherd (GUYANESE, 23 year old bowling allrounder) with 1 for 30
