Default Who is behind Hariri\'s assassination

After reading different newspapers about Lebanon's former prime minister Hariri's assassination, I am totally confused.

I am still not sure about the following:

1) Why he was targeted and why now?

2) Who is the most likely suspect (as a group/nation)? I can identify different possible suspects and their motives to do so. But I am not sure at this point who is the prime suspect for sure.

Hopefully we will know more (sooner than later) that will point out clear suspect.

Any thoughts?

No doubt that everyone will blame Syria behind this assassination. But I personally believe they are not stupid enough to draw such attention to themselves especially under the current pressures from the US. Americans are going to attack Iran and Syria within next 2/3 years and this assassination might be a part of that game plan.

israeli mossad might be involved....

getting rid of that hariri guy will put syria in trouble with americans making them 3rd target after iraq and afghanstan....and reduce israels already numerous enemies....iraq just went down....iran and syria are potential threats to them

lebanon is too weak and saudi arabia is the last country to act against them....
