Ryad can't take his place for granted, although I think he's mainly out of form,so why don't we give him a break?
And Jahu made a very good impression so far but yet to prove himself.

Changes for next game should be-

Jahurul replacing Riyad
Shafiul and Rubel replacing Mash and Nazmul

I'm afraid so too,but unnecessary to persist with Ryad,he is in poor form.
I really wanted to see more of Jahurul.

^^They wont let riyadh go right now. its a fact..but tbh I feel for riyadh. He gets to bat so low down the order that he barely gets to show his batting ability. He needs a break for sure

Bright sunshine ATM. We are having the match for sure. Though I hope there's no rain later today or tomorrow. Go BD!

Default I got a feeling!

I got a feeling that this might be the match we win back-to-back for the first time. The hint is in McCullum's ( I think) dabrani: "even great players can have one match off; winning one match doesn't mean jack, Bangaldesh shouldn't get too excited".
A very true statement, and I hope it fires them up again. I am veryexcited to see Rubel and Shafi open the bowling with a bit of moisture in the pitch.

Here's my predicted lineup:
Imrul
Nafees ( not bad last game)
Junaid
Raqib
Shakib
Mushy
Riyad ( should have been Jahurul)
Naeem (too low)
Razzak
Shafi ( our key bowler)
Rubel ( lethal weapon or nothing)

Batting first we should score 245 and New Zealand may fall just short. McCullum and Vettori key batsmen. Bowling first, I hope we can reduce them to 4/50 and win from there.

jahurul should be our new keeper batsmen so lets see how it goes Shafiul and Rubel needs to be fit for the next game dollar mahmud is an expensive bowler and syed rusel is still alright but his lack of pace makes it easy for Ross taylor and brandon mcullum to play big hits

I wish all the other matches of the series gets washed out and we win series 1- 0
thats offcourse on alternate route. but the road from cantt to mirpur 13 is not in good condition. not sure the players bus which is a volvo, rm-2 or mercedez benz will find it easy through that route.

anyway weather is looking good now. no problem i feel.

I am glad 2nd ODI got washed out. Now they have the chance to sort the bowlers out the next game

Shahriar Nafees
Jahurul Islam
Junaid Siddiqe
Roqibul Hasan
Musfiqur Rahim +
Shakib al Hasan 3
Naeem Islam (as a slogger/finisher, none of that defensive stuff) 6
Dollar Mahmud 5(slogging All) (Or Razzak 4, swap place with Shafiul)
Shafiul Islam 1
Rubel Hossain 4
Syed Rasel 2

No Imrul. I don't care what he avg in ODI, he is too slow. Even guys like Katich don't play ODI, and he avg way better.
No Riyad. He lost he plot. So did Naeem, but I will take him, because he did it as a bower last time.
It's between Razzak and Dollar. Dollar will be there to finish things off, with the bat, and bowl no more than 5 overs. Or we could just take Razzak and get no help at the lower order hitting.

But that won't wont be the XI. My best guess would be, evrything same, but Shaful and Rasel/Rubel will come in for Mash and Naz

i firmly believe that he is not a No.7-material for ODIs. while in tests, his position is absolutely ok... kind of laxmanesque role!

I think, Riyad is better suited for the no.4 position in ODIs where he will get enough opportunities to get settled and would hardly need to go hell for leather.

but again, at that position we've got guys like rokibul & jahurul &, may be, ashraful.

too hard to find a place for an out-of-form batsman.

If they get Brendon Mccallum and Ross Taylor out quickly, they have a chance, also, they have to score over 250 runs. This is one time, they have a chance to level or win a series against a G8 team, so I hope that they do not blow it, as they have done many times, also, the opposing team knows how to turn on the screws and bully them. About time, they learn how to stand up and fight back.
