1. Why is it that he suffers from lack of confidence in front of TV camera (as he said) ? and can't he do anything about it?
2. Why does he plays irresponsible cricket while he is the captain of a team and the team needs him the most?
3. What did he get in his H .SC exam ? :P

What's your role in the team as a batsman? and could you explain your contrasting approach of batting during Asia cup & Aus series?

Please explain to me ( a fan who doesn't understand cricket)
1. Why a player who knows the ball is swinging in the air will try to play a shot that gets him out over and over again. I mean what was his plan during the 3rd ODI? he should have known by now that ball is swing and better leave the balls outside the off stump? ok if he didn't then what was his plan after he was dropped?
2. He said several times that he loves to bat at #5. where he scored the most. Then after failing so many time why is he still batting at 3?
3. What does he thinks about this: He coming down to #5 gives the 4 players above him the mental strength and hope that since he is still to come they can play properly and also the oposite team/captain stays in worries cause he is still to come. on the other hand he coming to #3 and getting out in 3rd ball tells the op team that the game is over and tells the rest of the players ok if you can score more then zero you are safe for the next game. so no one else thinks about batting properly but tries to save their @$$.
4. What does he thinks about coaching about JS? Is there any strategy goes on before a game? can you give us an example (like why he put Kapali close to the batsmen like that though he dropped the catch but was that something they saw in the dressing room and discussed or that was his feeling?)
5. We Fan love you so please come down the order and let us enjoy the game till 20 over. Now its ending in 5th over.

Damn. I was going to ask the HSC question. Anyways, here it goes:

No offense, but do you think that the reason that we are not performing as expected is really because we aren't good enough? Should we have to wait for a whole new generation of cricketers to come into the fold to be able to compete with the top 8 on a regular basis?

1) Will you please name a few players (currently not in national side) that you think has the potential to serve the national side for a long time.

2) Did Rafique actually retire because of the board? Is there any chance that he might be back?

3) According to Ashraful who is the best SLA outside the national team ( mosharraf hossain, sahrawardy shuvo, Arafat sunny, yasin arafat or mehrab jr)?

4) According to Ash who is the best young upcoming fast bowler (Rubel, Robin , Sumon, Shuvasish, Talha)? Who is the fastest?

5) Does the selector talk to the captain and take his opinion during team selection?

I think Kabir bhai was not harsh enough. Ash deserves more. A player who played 128 ODIs and 42 tests and fail to average even 25 in both versions doesn't deserve a place in the team.

Here are my questions which i would love to ask him...
  • Who is the hottest model in BD right now according to him?
  • Does he plan to score a century every time he goes to bat?
  • Whom would he love most to have a date with at the moment?
  • What was his feeling when he saw that Monalisa is taller than him (though with high-hill)?
  • What did he do with the money he earned so far? Did he establish any business?
I know Miraz bhai is not gonna ask the above ones to him. So the following are my questions to ask him for the interview.
  • How many hours does he practice every day?
  • What is the method of his batting practice?
  • What type of deliveries does he find most difficult to play?
  • Which shot does he love most to play?
  • What should be the ideal strike rates for him in ODI and test?

My question, does he have a girlfriend?
Second question, why doesn't he try Alok as opener with Tamim?
Third question,Does he wants to quit being the captain right now?
Fourth question, will Ash or any of his teammates come to Florida,USA?
Tip for Ash,before he goes to bat, tell him to take a deep breath and forget everything bad that happened to him in his house, with has teammates, etc.
(tell Ash to try me in the team,so I can become the youngest player.)

I hope you don't mind me answering the question.

I went to the same diagnostic center that day when Ash had the CT scan in his brain. We saw Ash went inside the CT scan room. Suddenly I heard people there started talking with big surprise that the doctors failed to locate his brain. A senior doctor went to the CT scan room. After 5 mins he came out of the room with a big smile and said loudly that they could locate it.

You know where was it? Inside his knee joints....

Darn, SS got the question already. However, I'll repert it - When does he plan to get married? Two reasons. We have seen how getting married effects our in form players. in his case, since he is not in form, maybe it will help him. Also, in BD, when the boys start getting into trouble (after they turn 18-21+) or ummm, are not 'sound', people think that getting them married (and ruining some girls life) would fix all problems. Any thoughts on that ?

- Having played for BD for a better part of the decade. he has had the opportunity to play with two different age group of players. What differentiates the current lot from the likes of Akram, Bulbul, Sumon, Sujan, Rfaique, Golla, Rokon, etc.
- How much value does he put in tested cricketers? In other words, does he think that most of his teammates would have fared better if they had the opportunity to play more FC matches before making their National team debut?
- At this stage, what does he feel that the players and BCB needs to do to turn the performance around?
- Don't any of the current players dream of becoming a successful international player? Growing up, we all had dreams of becoming Imran Khan, Kapil Dev, Don Bradman and the list goes on. When are we going to have our own Kapil? Waqar? Wasim? Imran? Sunil? ???????

funny...

i'd ask:

1. Don't you think education is really necessary for enhancing wisdom of cricket? After all, every shot a player plays or every sudden decision he makes in the field is in reality being performed in the brain- thus thereby increasing the intelligence somehow whether by book learning, can't a person improve his game? If you answered yes to these, what are YOUR plans regarding this matter? (Sorry for being harsh.)

2. What is the REAL reason for your downfall and lack of confidence in the field?

3. So did you finally make out with that chick after canoodling in the lounge couch that my female friend saw you and then how you later invited my female friend's friends to a party.....? [optional]

4. Which batsmen do you emulate (of course he wouldn't know the meaning of 'emulate' so Miraz bhai please tell, after whom does he model his batting stlye) [ edit: just just saw ro1249's question]

5. Are you seeing any speech therapist for using the word "obviously" too much? [Although I can pretty much guess his response here...] (optional)

Oh, how do they feel about using a translator for the TV interviews? They look horified with the mic in front of their face.
