Big numbers were always guaranteed but Sylhet still stuck in the middle ages with regards to diversity it seems. Where are the women and kids???

For the diversity ladies and kids have other lines, have you thought for a second
But i guess overall in sports even in europe you don't seem much ladies lining up. Other day on tv news i saw lots of ladies and kids at gallery watching cricket. You go to sylhet bondor bazar you'll see all the ladies hanging out in shopping malls.. With their kids as well..

''Chokkah-Naeem'' and Mahmudullah are two of the most r.....players I have ever seen play LOI!! Pray to Allah these to never get picked for t20's, even ODI'S if they cant have a good strike rate, these days BD have many other options to chose from in batting-wise who can deliver at better strike rate especially down the order!!

Its pretty much the same in Chittagong, apart from ODIs.

A good reason why women and kids are not brought to the stadium could be because of the abrupt behavior of the other people in the gallery. In 2012, when BPL was held in my hometown I took some of my friends(few girls were there as well) to the stadium. There were was a couple of dudes who misbehaved with the girls and when I wanted to complain there was no where around and eventually I had to take them away from the gallery. Add to that, you can frequently hear words like "Madar***" and other stuffs where you are in the gallery with people of different classes. When I will have a wife in the future I would think twice before bringing my children and wife to the stadium. This is my opinion.

I really wished we had some quality lower order batsman, but Allah has blessed us with the likes of Zia, Reza, Kapali and SShuvo

Remember not so long ago no women were allowed at Lord`s members pavalion. And rightly so. What the women know about cricket! They are only there to check out the good looking cricketers. Waste of precious space. We Syloti are practical, conservative and lovers of good and wholesome traditions.

So, don´t expect any female barmy army at Sylot. Call us what you may!

Your judging by this photo? Harsh judgement based on this photo. Thought you're wiser than that.

How you know these men's that are lining up to buy tickets are not buying tickets also for their female family members or friends? have you ever visited Sylhet? I been there 2011-20112 and trust me it's London 2.0 and no sign of stuck in middle ages, buddy!!

TBH I'd take Zia over chokka-naeem and mahmudullah for down the order big hitting even though zia is hit or miss because zia can hit them (when he connects them that is) unlike the other two -they don't have the natural big hitting ability which zia has plus zia can be handy 3rd pacer!!

Most of the time women and kids go with man. Thats the norm in Bangladesh. While they wait in the shade man grafts himself queuing for the tickets.

But 100% agreed with BCF. You need to visit Sylhet and then you will understand.

Enamul showing why he is still among the better spinners in the country. I would pick him over Gazi in T20s based on bowling alone but since we are poor in the batting department we need Gazi because of the useful rear-guard action he provides almost everytime

Plus gazi provides variety..if we go in with 3 slas the opposition will read what's coming out like bread and butter..I'd still play Enam ahead of Lala if Raz doesn't turn up..he's been pathetic as of late..belted badly. Play Raz against Afgans if he fails play Enam.
