We should look to the future and try to build a world beating ODI team...

Oh who am I kidding, WC '15 is in Oceania and WC '19 in England. We'll get creamed regardless of who plays.

Why not Shabbir?!?! WHY?!?! We dont have many T20s before 2014 world cup and he must be in our plans if we are keep our man-ijjot in the world cup and atleast win 1 game. Shoocker..couldve been the right time and place to debut him.

So we'll have 4 pacers for the ODI's and T20I's? Don't think that's necessary since Bulawayo wickets suits spinners more. We should've sent Robiul back instead since he's bowled a lot since he's been here and had Enamul here instead. Otherwise don't mind this squad actually.

Nazmul is injured and BCB is not sending him abroad... he is suffering from injury and spending a payless time alone with no care from our board

Shabbir sucks! Just stop overrating him. It's over-overrating, even for Bangladeshi fans. Just because he got those green eyes doesn't mean he should be in the team. Freaking fangirls

Why was Enamul sent back? I know he is unlikely plan because of Razzak, but if this was a punishment move, Enamul bowled well on an unfriendly pitch.

I'm interested to see if Razzak performs in this tour. He did poorly in the 2011 series and even got dropped.

I think Zubair is much better prospect! We need a leg spinner badly to have some serious variety in spin.

Razzak is much better spinner than Enamul. Actually I think, as Razzak is auto choice for ODI spinner, we should keep him glued in Tests too. Other spinners are not doing any better than Raz could do.

Shabbir should at least be in the squad. He has that talent that cannot be ignored. Worth building upon imo.

you want to sent back the only bowler who is playing well? What msg he will get? He is bowling a lot coz he got the ability to do so..

I think we have a decent bowling line up with Gazi, Shakib, Razzak as spin options and Sajidul, Robiul and Shafiul as pace options. In the limited over series I expect the selectors to adapt the safe option and go with Zia as the 2nd pacer. So the team would most likely look like this:

Tamim, Shamsur, Ashraful, Mominul, Shakib, Mushy, Nasir, Zia, Gazi, Razzak, Robiul

Did you try to get my point or did you just want to get on with your own point and just happened to my post in it? Do we want to over bowl yet another pacer and get him injured? He's bowled a lot already. Let him have a break and have others bowl the limited overs leg. Also I wouldn't have minded it as much if this was Harare and we needed 4 pacers but Bulawayo you don't so many pacers. So I think it would've been better if we had Enamul in and Robiul go back and let him have a break from the work load.

^^^ Even though he did bowl a lot due to Mushy's inability to rotate bowlers during the day, I think Robiul's rhythm got better the more he bowled. He has had an extra day rest too thanks to our horrendous defeat in 4 days. I don't think our calender is busy enough to return inform players for rest to be honest. Lets say selectors take your advice and sends Robiul home... how long would he have to wait till he gets his next international game?

I agree in that part and I'd have him in if we were Australia, England, or South Africa but unfortunately we're not. Look at how our players get injured so easily. A lot of that has to do with our players not taking their fitness seriously and also not having enough plans for the pacers. Unfortunately it won't change and we might end up seeing Robiul being another injured player. I hope I'm wrong and it'd be a shame but it's happened to basically all our pacers

i told already in my previous post that he is bowling a lot coz he has the ability to do so.. He was labelled as a workhorse by one of our past coach.

Yup and didn't we think Mash could be a workhorse of our bowling lineup? Like I said, I hope he doesn't get injured due to being overbowled but history tells us that our pacers have major injury issues. Since Robiul has been a great find for us, I'd really be careful in managing his workload

I'm not too sure if Shamsur will be effective in national colours. Good luck to him though. We seem to be slim on quality openers so i hope he can change that. I think if Jahurul doesn't work out then him/Anamul should be given chances.
