There is no excuse for this loss, but jumping into bandwagon about Test status is opportunistic and doesn't deserve a proper discussion at this point.

Zimbabwe is a better team than Bangladesh at home.
Why have I this feeling: I have read this before.

Thank you! Finally some who is not menstruating and who gets it. Mods should close this thread and the discussion amongst Bangladeshis should be as invalid as opening a FC thread saying that Bangladesh should be stripped of sovereignty and/or rejoin with Pakistan. To me its the same thing.

This is a good piece regarding the matter

Bangladesh's embarrassing lack of improvement since getting Test status pours shame on ICC's rushed decision

In their inaugural Test innings, fired by patriotic pride, Bangladesh’s batsmen fought their way to 400 on a very slow pitch. In their second innings they collapsed against India, and lost by a big margin – and the same has been happening pretty much ever since.

Of their 73 Tests, Bangladesh have lost 63 of them. It is a record which speaks for itself, and that is before you factor in that half of those defeats have been by an innings, after their opponents have declared with a huge total and few wickets down.
Seven of their Tests have ended in draws - only seven. Given the flatness of their pitches at home and the amount of rain in the rest of the world, any self-respecting Test side should have competed well enough to force more draws than that.

Bangladesh have won three Tests out of 73 – and even that figure looks better than it really is. One was at home to Zimbabwe. The other two came in the West Indies when the West Indian board had alienated even more players than usual, so they had to field what was effectively their third XI.

Losing twice to an inexperienced ZIM team makes it even worse

Btw, I support South Africa
We're in the same boat then. In 50 years our country will be under water, and your country won't have any healthy people left. We may end up rooting for the same "home" side by that time.

Yeah, there are all these ZIM fans coming under the guise of South Africans and what not. ZIM hardly has fans inside ZIM...why would they have fans outside?

The fact of the matter is BD aren't up to test format.

Bangladesh should play less test next 3years, maybe 4 a year. But, play More ODI's leading up 2015 WC, because ODI is where Bangladesh will succeed more, and it is BD's best format, and play t20s!
Really? What a smart idea - less play, less humiliation!

I say - NO.

But, you can ask the OP & Co. if they permit us to play or not!

They should just come home and eat their mommies' cooked food, get fat, trip and injure themselves. Playing the rest of the matches is too much of a chore.

BD corporate companies are now sponsoring away Test matches as well as Home series:
Srilanka: Dhaka Bank
Zimbabwe: Teletalk

I wont be surprised if the tradition continues by local sponsors in NZ, WI, ENG and even SA or AUS. Just win some Tests, money will roll and all these menaingless cry will stop. Hate from haters cant stop us, we are here to stay. Long Live BD Cricket!
