SL 292 all out ... Pakistan 15-2/7 at stumps.

Solid comeback for Sri Lanka. No Prasanna and Dillu behind the stumps, no big innings from the big batsmen, and NO Malinga and Murali but still very much in the match ...

I think we still have a better bowling attack, I hope my comment won't bite me tomorrow with us getting hammered though.

No Malinga, Mahroof, Dilhara, Murali, Vaas. Playing with a 2nd string bowling attack.

Even batting wise, I think we are okay, Kapugedera scored 130 odd retired out against Pakistan and he didn't have a place. Prasanna Jayawardena is injured, I hope Mathews won't be dropped when he comes back because Mathews really is the real deal, best of the current crop of young players.

I also thought Suraj Mohommad should've played instead of Herath.

Looking like a pretty balanced test match.

Yeah. If Kamran Akmal and another fielder didn't drop these two catches, it would have been a 5-er for him. Poor boy. Luck didn't favor him.

I honestly can not understand why PCB persists with Akmal even though he drops so many catches. He can play as a batsman, but they should find another keeper to replace him behind the stumps. Akmal is the worst test keeper right now.

Aamer is very good so far. Is definitely mature beyond his years. I would be interesting to see what they do once Sohail Tanvir is 100%.

The Paki jodi laigga jay system has always done well for them when it comes to seamers. Even Rana Navid and Rao Iftekhar are decent bowlers. They have issues with openers: Farhat, Nazir, Jamshed, Shahbaz, and now another one. Who's next I wonder? ...

Butt isn't the most stable either. I expect Nazir to get another shot soon. Pakis should've played Afridi.

Sorry to hear that about PJ. Very fond of him.

Definitely a second string bowling attack for Sri Lanka but they still have a good chance to win this, provided the bowlers walk through whatever doors the Pakis open for them and their batters do as well as they can as a unit in the second innings.

BTW, whatever happened to Puspakumara, the once U-19 captain?

FINALLY Rauf goes. Decent delivery from NuKu held the line well. Dillu took the catch behind the stumps ...

PAK 55-3. MoYo and MiHa need to be frazzled early. Excruciatingly tough task for Lankan bowlers.
